Funny, just saw this tread. I had Two-Hearted Ale for the first time last night. Really Good. I like Oberon by Bells, so I need to try their Octoberfest too.

My opinion that absolutely no one asked for. 1) This is small. Is there speculation there is something bigger they may find in the process? I wonder? 2) I have seen the word cover-up. Not sure if that is correct or not? That word bothers me the most. 3) If Husker football lays another egg, this makes it easier, if all of this happened, to move on from SF. 4) There have been rumors of the athletic department being a hot mess and full of leaks. Trev may move a lot of people on after this in Husker Athletics.

Here is what I have learned, I thought Solich should have been fired, I was wrong I was excited about Callahan, I was wrong I thought Bo should have been fired, I was wrong I was excited about Riley, I was wrong I thought Frost was the savior, I appear to be wrong (that can still change) I am probably an average, stupid, hopeful, still want to see greatness again, Husker Fan. I just want the season to start so we can complain/celebrate something different.

This thread and many like it, just screams, WE NEED FOOTBALL TO FREAKING START!!

To get that group of amazing women on one relay was really AWESOME! 1 of them is still almost a kid!

I appreciate the fan led thoughts and great ideas. Do we think that the B1G and Pac-12 leadership has the balls to make this move? I think it is great, but Kevin Warren is too busy screwing up the day to day running of the conference to work on something like this. I love your thoughts.

I might, our HS has the Longhorns as our mascot. It would work.

Crap, I need to add a new one... ESPN is knee deep into determining what happens in college sports. (It all started with the Longhorn Network. Another reason for me to hate ESPN. I only watch live sports there)

That laid out things as well as I have seen anywhere. Make a TV agreement with the Pac-12 and be done with it. Make a main channel and an auxiliary channel. That will make tons of money for all! KU and the rest. Sucks for you. Shouldn't have bent over for the Whorns and sided with Nebraska. History lessons and hindsight can be a b!^@h! KU can join the Big East and make their pathetic FB program go FCS.

So this is what we know... Nebraska was right! (we knew that) Texas and OU will do what is best for them. (we also knew, maybe not as much with OU) The rest of the Big 12 were clueless (yes, again) Kevin Warren is a lame, weak and worthless leader (we have known this through every turn) Texas sucks!!! (still....) Really is anything here a surprise?

They do care and they think they are an Ivy league. That is why a year ago the Prez's and powers that be followed the Ivy in cancelling sports. It took a push by AD's and fans to open up to sports.

Minus the AAU ranking, if the Huskers were still in the Big 12, the B1G would take them now.

I have wondered if the B1G has ever talked to Vanderbilt. Not that we want them now, but it is the one school that doesn't seem to fit in the SEC. It really is a B1G type of school.

Not yet, hoping for that in a few years. We have been OK the last few years, but with our freshman class. It could happen. We are also growing. We might bet too big for our conference. We have 3 divisions and the bigger schools are on the other side of the city. They would want us going over there. No thank you! Trying to get across Cleveland in rush hour traffic? No way!

That is exactly what I am thinking. FB is a different animal. Even in HS it is the thing that causes issues within conferences. I am back to coaching HS FB this year. I see us as a FB team getting our HS kicked out of our conference in 2 years. (I hope) Becaue we are kicking the crap out of everyone. KU might want to just play FCS FB, but given the current format, they can't. Just make FB it's own thing.

Take this and make everyone else in a lower division. If some teams suck, you can move them down and other teams can come up. Get a committee to decide who goes up and who goes down. When you go down, you make less money. When you go up, you make more. If some of the teams in your senerio don't want to invest money to compete, let other teams in that will. This does not have to be tied to the current conferences. TCU has been much more competitive than KU. NCAA doesn't run FB, it does run everything else. For other sports, leave the traditional conference format. Bottom tier can have their own playoff.

Nope, but I saw Iowa State rumored somewhere.

A smarter fool is still a fool. B1G needs to make a move. BTW Iowa State is an AAU School.

On a side note. Am I the only one that when I think of PJ Fleck I picture the Dean from Community?
