how many times do people have to point out that this recruiting stuff is a bunch of hype - but it seems like we have to recruit some douchebag that puts on an N hat at an all-star game, and Riley is some magic-dick at getting these guys to come here (even though it is a fact that Pelini recruited better as good or better than Riley depending on the source) and if the magic that is Riley happens to get a Calibraska recruit it justifies playing like short-jocked hamsters and losing multiple games with horrific play calling and discipline. Coaching, hard work and a winning attitude makes up for losing a few stars- Ask the Pirate who was exiled to Pullman, a place where all the recruits want to go- oh yeah he beat USC who never is a loss at recruiting top 10 and went into Eugene to f a duck or two. I wonder what our problem is as a fan base?

not sure if serious and if you are, what specifically do you not think happened in the way I stated. It's pretty obvious that Scott Frost would come back under the right circumstances, and its also pretty obvious Scott talks to people who thought Perlman was a weasel, and by extension Eichorst and made guys like Meyers, and even TO sick with their lying and sycophant breeding culture

the conventional thinking is that Frost wants to come back, but only if the deep seated issues are solved and to his liking- some have, Eichorst fired, Perlman forced out- the big thing will be the AD- if Rimmington were to stay I'd say Frost would be looking at Lincoln real estate right now.

lets face it we're not going to beat good teams, Wisconsin proved that- so tOSU, PSU Iowa are losses, mediorce teams like the rest have a better than average chance of beating us as witnessed in the NIU game- heck even bad bad teams have a chance of winning - so 4-8 or 5-7 would reasonable predictions at this point

We are not favored in any game from here on out, so the odds are in favor of 5-7 or lower- what is striking is that only 3 people in the original poll (4- if I were on the board at the time) took off the rose colored glasses to allow in a critical thought as to the factors that they'd use in predicting the seasons results Factors that included: New QB with a crappy record at Tulane (turn-over machine and about 50% completion-sound familiar?) New Defense with new Coach Schedule that basically shouted out a minimum of 5 -6 losses (Wisc-tOSU, PSU, Iowa, OR plus a random should have won loss) and of course a coach who should not have been hired if you based such things on past records.
