  1. guess we don't need frost any more now that we know we can beat purdue.
  2. i think frost's familiarity with the university and culture would keep most of the class together. if we hire somebody like riley again, the class will probably fall apart. the class is pretty small right now anyways, so not like there's a ton of players to lose.
  3. LSU, Tennessee and Florida will be paying off old coaches and ADs as well. we can pay frost just as much as those schools can. Frost will get a lot more time to build a program at Nebraska than he would get at an SEC school that he has no ties to
  4. true, but we play ohio state, wisky, mich, mich st, iowa, in 2018, and we don't regularly have top 10 recruiting classes like lsu does.
  5. us and lsu offer frost 5 mil. who does he pick? i like to think he picks us, but the amount of talent lsu can get would be very tough to turn down.
  6. we have tons of in state talent on our roster. you can't put every player in the state on our team.
  7. he called moos the best AD he's ever met. The Leach talk is not going away any time soon. at the very least leach will use the nebraska opening as leverage to get a bigger contract extension at WSU. leach is also set to appear on 1480AM tomorrow
  8. he's fit in at washington and texas. 2 pretty polar opposite states and universities in terms of culture. but like i said, frost should be the unanimous #1 choice. if it's not frost it better be a big time name.
  9. i still think leach is in the mix despite what he said today, but frost should be the #1 option. if we let frost end up at an sec school, the fans might just give up.
  10. i don't expect us to win, but riley is truly a terrible coach if he doesn't cover the 24.5 points.
  11. you are completely wrong. Colleges are a business...and they make money from ticket sales. obviously it makes the program look bad to have empty seats. but in terms of sending a message to the higher ups, half empty stadiums will absolutely do that.
  12. $17 to the osu game is almost worse than $7 to the northwestern game. OSU is a top 10 team.
  13. why would anyone spend thousands on season tickets when you can go to the ohio state game for $20? lol.
  14. riley took over a 9 win team. he didn't start from scratch. he's had more than enough talent to take care of illinois, northern illinois, and '15 purdue every coach would do better with upgraded talent, but you have to get the most out of the talent you currently have. riley is clearly not doing that right now.
  15. i think a really good team would have to come calling for lee which seems unlikely given the year he's had.
  16. i think frost could do damage control if hired. he's a player's coach, and he could probably find some under the radar guys in florida to fill out the class.
  17. Looks pretty nice right now compared to riley. 1 meltdown vs wisconsin, but overall a solid year. 18. and followed that up by going 5-7 in his first year here...not counting the bowl win we shouldn't have even been allowed to play in.
  19. anyone that thinks riley has a good chance of being retained is either trolling or completely delusional bringing back riley after another 6 win season would probably end the sellout streak.
  20. i imagine if we were playing at osu, it'd be right around that.
  21. maybe. since he won't have to play northern illinois in the nfl
  22. Riley put all his marbles in Tanner Lee, and he has ended up being a worse passer than Armstrong and a much much worse athlete.
  23. i'd put the percentage at 95%. ohio st, penn st, and iowa could get ugly. and purdue is looking solid.
  24. it might all work out. if we had hired somebody better than riley, we would never have gotten the chance to get frost.
  25. i'm on board with whoever frosts wants.
