  1. Amen. I think we're the better team, but still not confident. We've dropped multiple games to bad teams in every season under Frost. Everyone talks about progress, progress in year 4 is putting away scrubs like Illinois, NW and Purdue.
  2. I'm like 75% sure we will roll them. But NW has a good coach and a typically solid program. If it's close late, Memorial Stadium will turn into the Capital of Pucker-ville.
  3. Benhardt and Hixson/Piper, right? Should have included Sichterman and Turner too. Every OL position outside of Cam should be up for grabs.
  4. and Left Tackle....and Right Guard.....
  5. Hey, I said "might be"! But could you imagine what this team looks like without AM and if our defense was just average? We're 122nd in QB Sack %, our RB's are averaging 3.7 yards a carry, we're 114th in FG%, 96th in Kick Return defense, 130th (DEAD LAST ) in punt return defense, 128th in Net Punting. Not hyperbole to say we have the worst special teams in Power 5 football and one of the worst offensive lines. Just scares me to death to think about what this would look like without AM playing superman and Chin's defense balling out.
  6. If we lose Chins, make zero other coaching changes, AM heads off for the next leg of his career, and we bring in the worst recruiting class in the B1G - next year might be the biggest dumpster fire in the history of the program.
  7. I know the debate will rage on, but seems like this will work itself out. 4-8 (2-7) seems like an automatic HC firing, don't see how anyone would justify keeping Frost after our worst conf finish in 60+ years. 5-7 (3-6) probably means Frost gets one more year with staff adjustments as he is basically in "win or get fired" mode for 2022. 6-6 (4-5) probably gives Frost the ability to move forward with how he see's fit.
  8. How? He has a .321 winning percentage in the B1G. That’s worse than Riley’s worst season at Nebraska. Sure it looks better than when Riley was a deadman walking, working with a DC he didn’t want to hire. If he makes a bowl this year that’s tangible progress. If we’re sitting at 5-7 or 4-8 and 5th in our division once again, it will show we’ve made up virtually no ground since he’s been hired - literally sitting where we have every year since Riley’s last season.
  9. We didn’t hire Frost to give us slight improvement over the Riley/Diaco Disaster. Sure this years team is better than Riley’s last team but that’s such a low bar. Still have yet to finish top 4 in our division. Lost to a first year coach at Illinois and a 2nd year coach at MSU. Still time this season to show some real progress this year, but following up Riley’s 5th place finish in the west with 4 straight 5th place or worse finishes is just spinning our wheels relative to our peers.
  10. 4-8 or 5-7 is likely now. Next year with a new QB and losing some vets on defense could be another bowl-less season. Could be a long 14 months for Husker Football.
  11. In the last 5 years we're 12-24 in B1G play, 0-12 against top 25 teams, 4-16 on the road. I don't think people are "scared and emotional" just expecting the same thing until proven otherwise.
  12. I don't think Michigan is a playoff team, but Harbaugh has put together 4 top 20 teams in his 6 years thus far. This years team looks like another top 20 type team for Harbaugh. People crap on Harbaugh a lot, but 34-16 in the B1G speaks for itself, and he's 11-4 against the East (only losing to Iowa and Wisconsin). Everything about Harbaugh's history makes me think Michigan will be a tough game no matter what.
  13. Oh man....the other headlines health officials could be creating. "Both test negative for STD's? Oregon Health Officials say you can Raw Dog during consensual sex again!"
  14. I said MSU by 8-14. I think this would be a huge win for Frost if he can pull it off, but I have seen 1 step forward two steps back from NU football for far too long. I have this feeling in my stomach that we have been feeling ourselves a little too much after playing well Saturday. If we win I think a lot of weight will be off everyones shoulders....Scott, Trev, the Team, the Fans - it would be such a good thing for this program, but like I said, I need to see it first.
  15. The inclusion stuff is becoming a nightmare and hypocritical as f#&%. You can't get mad at "All Lives Matter" then turn around and make a "Woman's Rights" movement be about more than Women. The BLM movement is to promote equality for the Black community. The Woman's Rights movement is to promote rights for women. And there's enough misinformation out there, don't start editing the quotes of deceased historical figures.
  16. Just to clarify those are not whips. Judd explained agents are trained for crowd control by the Homeland Security Department to "twirl the reins" if humans start approaching their horses to keep them away from getting injured, and the reins are never used to strike or harm people. "We have to keep those individuals away from the horses," he explained. "If they get too close to the horses, the horses could step on them and they could break bones. They could kick them. They can get kicked in the head. It could cause death.
  17. I'd add on receiving out of the backfield as well. An RB like that could really stifle Frost's play calling. Yant's role in Frost's offense will likely be situational.
  18. I wish our special teams issues were special teams penalties.
  19. Really excited to see what the staff is going to look like. Perry and Christo could be as good as any 1-2 punch in the conference. So many talented arms behind those two guys as well. Then factor in Childress, a guy that made a habit of building top pitching staffs in the toughest conference in baseball....hot damn.
  20. I like this. MSU has been down once this year. It was by 4 points, in the first half, and it was short lived. I'd love to make them uncomfortable. Walker isn't as scary if they are playing from behind.
  21. MSU has a freak at OLB Quavaris Crouch. Was a RB in HS, rushed for 3300 yards in a single season, #3 overall Athlete in his class. Transfer from Tennessee (goodness did MSU crush the transfer portal). He was used to spy King last week, King has 12 carries for 7 yards. Expect him to spy AM this week.
  22. All the talk about Walker, didn't realize that their QB has 9 TDs and 0 picks through 3 games. Seems like they're pretty well balanced, should be another test for our defense.
  23. Zero hesitation either. Add in 90 yards on 14 touches against that defense, and baby you've got a stew going. Now watch him not play against MSU haha.
  24. Damnit, now I'm on board. RB1. He was a dog in every phase of the game on Saturday.
