  1. https://247sports.com/Season/2020-Football/CompositeTeamRankings/?Conference=Big-Ten It updates all the time, Nadab is included. Still #4 in conference and #20 nationwide. However, they don't remove transfers right away so we've actually dropped nationally.
  2. What you described is admirable, and I too used to think in absolutes like that. What I had to learn was that my line of thinking was driven by my own upbringing and circumstances. I had a strong family unit and a Dad in my life who cared. You don't know what the individual situations have looked like for these kids and what their mental state is. Sticking things out or knowing they will probably get better may be a totally new concept to some, you just don't know. I won't judge a young man for this and just hope he finds a good situation for him where he can grow.
  3. I like it if we start playing some real football again. I really dislike it if we lost twice to Wisconsin and Iowa, or even the Bloomin Onions up there in the North. New trophy idea? A golden bloomin onion?
  4. Here they come, the next Clemson, proudly boasting fresh Outback bowl rings!
  5. Gotta happen on the field THIS year. Losing season again and see ya.
  6. Yep. I have been normally optimistic but with 10 B1G games this year and Oklahoma, Michigan and Ohio State etc coming in 2021 it is now or never. A losing year this year would be bad enough but 2 in a row for 5 total would be the death knell for recruiting. It is now or never ladies and gentlemen, the wins must come whenever football is played next. I am still ***cautiously optimistic*** that will happen but I still need my eye balls to see it.
  7. Poor timing of having QBs needed = poor recruiting. Part of that is the coaching change yes but that was self inflicted by the snowball started when Solich was fired. Continuity was a huge source of Nebraska's strength and a lot of people, me included, downplayed it when we were so close to the heights of the late 90s. That is what we must get back to.
  8. Covering up the ID so I suspect another school.
  9. It gets really old listening to people make excuses about data they don't like. You keep ignoring the fact that many other large countries have this under control while the US screws things up beyond belief.
  10. Who cares if we are on pace with last year? Until we have a 4 star product on the field and don't constantly get whipped by Wisconsin and Iowa, who we've out recruited for the past decade, what does winning the offseason get us? Having more 4 stars on the roster and still getting boatraced makes us look even worse. It's time for development and some wins, the recruiting rankings will follow. If the on field wins don't come, none of it matters.
  11. I think the biggest point to take from this is flexibility for the conference in moving things around if needed due to outbreaks. They can move games back for school X and up for school Y etc. Scheduling other things takes that flexibility away so I don't see that being allowed.
  12. I'm gonna vent for a second... If you think for a second that: 1. Masks don't work. 2. This thing can't be controlled. You just don't want to hear facts. Japan has 1/3 the population in 1/25th the space. Think about that! How???? Magic? No, people wear MASKS and aren't selfish. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ What does this have to do with football? Well come later this week the B1G may recommend a 10 game conference only schedule, start practicing and then maybe be forced to postpone or cancel the season because some people can't be bothered to think critically or take two seconds to think about someone else. It is going to cost us all at least some, if not all, college football in 2020.
  13. Holy crap, I just had a life moment. I was born 8/5/85, and Lardarius Sr., father of this commit, was born 10/12/85. I'm older than a commits FATHER. Wow...didn't see that coming today.
  14. Ha, I'm sure they do read all they can, I would. I was making a joke that he isn't looking at playing outside the SEC from what I've heard.
  15. I don't think he can hear you all the way from the SEC.
  16. Haha. What year are you all living in that you haven't used electronic tickets yet? Buy, sell, send to someone else. It's covered.
  17. Definitely agree. The win total this year is more important than the last two, and if only conference games are played that could be a problem unless the team can have a winning record still. I suspect the Frost effect would be gone and unfortunately that mojo is needed to recruit to Lincoln. Recruiting would slide backwards in that scenario, and at a time where the rest of the division is stepping up, would create a bleaker outlook for the future.
  18. Fair enough. My point was more about the other guys than Kade. If we had the higher ranked kids play smart, with leadership, Kade wouldn't see 75% of snaps but we don't. My issue is more with the overall quality of the team, I just didn't phrase it well. Getting tired of the offseason but I'm afraid it is going to continue all the way into 2021.
  19. I completely forgot 2016 existed! I need to put the phone down when the tequila comes out eh?
  20. I get the sentiment and I love when walkons contribute also, but without significant production from all of these more talented kids that have been signed, this ship continues to sink. Do you enjoy missing bowls? You can't have your cake and eat it too. Fun fact, Nebraska has only made one bowl, that was backed into with a losing record, since Bo left in 2014. 2014! It's long past time for some 4 star recruits to actually play like it in Lincoln so we aren't having this conversation anymore.
  21. Ha, I appreciate the heck out of the kid and he can definitely contribute, but I don't see it being overly significant. If he is seeing 75% of snaps we again have WR room issues.
