I don't see Bo changing. Especially not without intense counselling. I was just talking with one of my friends who is friends with Shatel at the OWH. Every time Shatel wrote an article which Bo deemed offensive he would fill up his voice mail with several salty rants. I can only imagine the messages Dirk got.

Kudos to De'Mornay! Phenom comes to mind. His 589 punt return yards surpass the team total of the previous 3 seasons combined! 2013 (70), 2012 (270), 2011 (139). You have to go back to 2005 to find a Nebraska team whose team total surpassed his (645). 2010 (297), 2009 (485), 2008 (376), 2007 (139), 2006 (295). Besides the touchdowns he has been so crucial in flipping field position. Next year he should get more time on kick offs and at WR to maximize his big play potential.

Yesterday morning on 1620 Jay Forman was on with his weekly segment and Damon Benning was asking him what he has observed about the linebackers the last couple years. One disturbing thing he provided insight to was that different LBs were being taught different methods to contain. So not everyone was on the same page. Seriously folks he coached Oregon State through their golden years. A nothing program that didn't have a winning season from 1971 to 1998. He had THREE 9 wins seasons which was matched or bettered only THREE TIMES in the history of the program. Then throw in a ten win season on top of that. What he did with what he had and where he was? It was a good hire.

Before he and Erickson built that program up it rivaled Kansas State before Snyder. Horrific! Can't wait to see what he can do with better players and resources.
