  1. Credit and comparison is not the same. He compared their skill players to be better. I found it odd given he commented against Ochaun's note we have a losing culture.
  2. Don't get me wrong, I really like Mickey. However, the entire fan base has to be tired of all the talking. It really means nothing. Results. That's it. Don't care about faults, Monday practice energy, hype videos, mustache solidarity. Win.
  3. Mickey's comment about OU having better skill players. He then came back and said we have good ones too but they need to execute. Will see how tough our kids are from that comment and a bad loss. Not expecting much of a difference, sadly.
  4. It's so bad right now Northwestern just lost to Southern Illinois...who, themselves, lost to San Antonio based Incarnate Word by five touchdowns.
  5. Maybe, but on the field, this starts at both lines. If we don't win there I don't care what QB, RB, or LB's we have.
  6. In part, understand the past to not repeat it.
  7. Absolutely. Why things happen inform and teach us; better outlooks moving forward.
  8. Look at our DLine push throughout the game. They were getting blown off the ball. Couple that with some terrible backend zone play, and we couldn't stop the run or threaten their passing. Our D is terrible right now, and Chin is a bad bad coach at this level.
  9. Gives some more clarity on Scott's repeated commentary on needing his players to lead more. All teams need this, but I suspect Frost really meant he needed people to coach more...because he was hung over, needed to cover up the new perfume on his shirt, and was going to be way late for practice. I bet Tom is semi-heart broken. He loves Scott, but Scott's actions are far more sad and telling than even the W/L results...though the former no doubt contributed to the latter.
  10. When Frost was hired, no question. I was in HS through the mid-late 90's during the golden years, and I believed Frost would be the next Osborne for the program. My father passed away in 2010, and Husker football was one of our stronger bonds. I teared up during Frost's press conference as it represented a lot for me; loss and hope. It's been disappointing over the last four+ years. Hearing more about what Scott represented, I'm glad he's gone. I can thank him for his time as a player but carry more optimism with him now gone. Excitement, however? Not close...when he was hired vs. the current stretch we're in.
  11. Expecting less talk, more walk, with the regime change.
  12. Scott specifically has called out Duval, the QB Whisperer kook, and Chin as being the best, in their respective roles, in the business. It's as clear as day Scott doesn't know what he's talking about or doing which is now represented in his employment status.
  13. He was in his early 20's having drubbed Peyton Manning's Vols to win a championship, standing in front of a camera stating NU's case against Michigan...and boldly. That's just who Scott is - brazen and pompous. What made him great in '97 made him, in part, a poor coach.
  14. Wouldn't he have red-flagged the losing culture during the preseason? Or it's all fake preseason (fake hype, energy, optimism) and when the losing happens, the real culture shows? I'd like to think those around winning cultures, like Wynn, would be speaking up more given they've come from championship teams.
  15. You're correct. But still another that Frost brought in that was terrible.
  16. Lubick - Gone Chin - Soon to be Gone
  17. How, if he's being told to not fire Scott yet?
  18. Our offense has to be perfect. Our Defense is terrible
  19. If we didn't have Grant I'm not sure we'd win a game this year
  20. Our tackles are so slow they're backing up way too deep in the pocket for fear of getting beat.
