  1. I’m not really a run the damn ball guy. But can we please run the damn ball.
  2. Where in the world did number 90# come from? James Williams? Iowa Central CC transfer. never heard of him til he made the initial hit on that 3rd down sack
  3. No s#!t. We better at least be a bowl team before we allow alcohol sales.
  4. I don’t much about assessing QB’s. I also haven’t been super impressed by him or the two WR’s from Bell West this season. If anything the kid has a live arm and is accurate on a wide range of throws. I’m not sure what kind of development is expected from a HS Senior QB to a Fresh/Soph college QB. But if our coaches can replicate any of the improvement we have seen this season with this kid. I think we will be alright. May still need a stop gap between for 24&25 seasons, for Kaelin to mature and develop but I can see this kid as a multi year starter. Elite 11 guys must know something….
  5. How does this guys eligibility pan out? is he a 3 for 2 ? or 4 for 3 since his freshman year was the COVID year at A&M?
  6. The message is strong. Somebody in another thread related it to Urban Meyer and the Gators doc. Which made sense in the differences they showed. Ultimately, Rhule is asking for their very best regardless of the outcome. He just seems to have a better way of asking for it than previous staffs. The “ culture” he has built is one that, if we perform to our standards and lose, then we have played in a way that is acceptable to have “died by”. I love it honestly… play with the same fire, whether it’s Jacksonville state or Alabama. Win or lose, if the play is to our standard than the job has been completed.
  7. Nearly every rushing play a WR gets thrown to the ground by a CB/S or a TE gets chucked by a LB. Marcus was trying to block him, the CB was trying to get him off. This was a freak injury, I would even go as far to say that Marcus got hurt fighting for his block with the DB, not that he got hurt by the DB. He got off balance and chucked because he injured himself.
  8. Fidone can catch that. But its a tough catch. Alvano needs to be able to kick from the right hash mark. Give Bleekrode some run and let Alvano sit, he is a freshman every opportunity is a new challenge for him right now.
  9. Let it be by the code
  10. Dillon played at Garden City, Did you by chance play at Hutchinson?
  11. Hey! They knocked off a tough Long Island University team...... They also played Utah tough
  12. Didn't realize his team wasn't doing well. With all his highlights, you would imagine they would be a winning team and not 1-4.
  13. Practice is literally the only thing that will help. Not trying to make fun of the guy, just never heard him in a post game before I guess, but he was injecting the phrase into even parts where there was no pause in his discussion. Anyway, who cares, he played well.
  14. I’m happy with how Grant played, but we need to get him some interview practice. Instead of the standard “umm” pause you get from a lot of people/players. He has replaced it with “know what I’m saying?”. Tough to listen to.
  15. Our defensive line got mugged several times, should have been around half dozen holding calls. Not complaining about the refs, thought they botched some things for us and Tech. But Tech also had a quick hit passing game and the quarterback looked to be very aware in the pocket and credit to him, he was able to avoid the pressure we did get.
  16. Don't make incorrect statements then. 12 schools have won national titles since 2000. Should the other 57 Nike schools give up?
  17. Lenhardt has been great- especially against Colorado. Nice to see a freshman provide that type of contribution. I don't feel like we have had a ton of production from DL/OL freshman in a while.
  18. Sims stares down his #1 option (potentially only option before he scrambles) we saw this twice in interceptions. We once saw it work on a 3rd down conversion pass to Rahmir Johnson that I could not believe worked after Sims watched the back of his numbers from his left side all the way until he delivered the pass 6 yards downfield.
  19. We made plenty of mistakes and this piece doesn’t necessarily change the game in any perspective. But I am so perplexed that the ref staring at Lenhardts face mask couldn’t see that he was being egregiously held as well- dragged by the backside shoulder pad is more descriptive
  20. Real question is why didn’t Sims stick in 87’s chest on the INT.
