  1. I could be way off but Frost appears very confident in his presser and Day looks uptight and tense. I feel like we're going to shock the world on Saturday as long as we get out of our own way. Even if we lose I think we turn in a good performance.
  2. I'm thinking they can get creative with kickoffs and extra point conversions. On kickoffs we can line up onside and kick it high downfield where the returner has to fair catch it at the 25 or 30. The other team would have to cover for the onside so there would be no blockers for the returner, it would limit issues with the return. Going for 2 sucks because it's about the easiest field goal you can make but we're still having issues with it. I feel bad for Pickering, he has only 1 job but is unable to do it. Soft tissue injuries (non ligament) usually take no more than 6 weeks to heal, it's truly an unprecedented injury if it wasn't a season ending injury. Frost has had some bad luck, hopefully it turns around this weekend and we go on to run the table!
  3. The punting game is good but kickoff and field goals are the worst I've seen with any team, Statistically we're probably better off going for 2 and lining up for onside kicks.
  4. I think the staff needs to seriously consider abandoning the kicking game all together. We're not making many field goals, including extra point attempts. We should also line up for onside kicks every time. We don't have to go onside every time but can kick it deep at times where most teams just fair catch it because they don't have any blockers. Our kicking game is a major liability right now, there are likely many high schools with better kicking game than we have currently. It's odd because we had such a solid kicking game recently, I think Riley really hurt our depth by not getting many walk on kickers.
  5. When things were going badly yesterday it seemed Frost stayed calm, especially in the second half. He was talking to the QB's and offensive players particularly in the second half in a teaching way it seemed and didn't start yelling at the kids or giving false encouragement. It's a big contrast to our previous coaches and gives me encouragement for the future.
  6. Yes, I can't wait for hundreds of ads per page with malware and full pop ups of my winning gift cards. This forum has been missing it dearly.
  7. Let's Go Boys! Give it your best and see how things come out. This game may have been exactly what we needed. Woke up Martinez and the offense, the defense gave up big plays but is better than last year. If we win the turnover battle and limit turnovers we have a chance!
  8. We were lucky the block in the back was reversed. Game changed with that play
  9. The problem with WI is that they are a very solid team but as good as they've been they've never seriously contended for anything other then conference titles. Also MI is getting exposed for who they've been all season. They were really overhyped and will likely lose a few more including to OSU. Harbaugh is also looking like Pelini, a good coach who can beat up on lesser teams but can't win big games.
  10. https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2014/12/17/7412355/bo-pelini-nebraska-shawn-eichorst I don't think Bo is ever coming back to the state of NE outside of recruiting a NE kid. Weird thing is he was probably more right about the administration than most people know. Eichorst, Pearlman, and the rest of the administration wanted him out for a more PC coach like Riley. I wish he'd of won at least one championship while he was here because he was a good coach. In the end he looked miserable at NE and would have been out eventually. The only thing he likely misses about NE is the fat checks he got for 5 years after he was fired.
  11. OSU has looked good and we've looked.....um......good at times. Let's hope the team puts a good effort and makes a game of it, and we don't get embarrassed on the big stage again.
  12. You've seen our team right? We aren't getting the benefit of the doubt until we show some consistency.
  13. NU 27 CU 21 Rushing 147 Passing 210 (Adrian has another tough game) Blackshirts play tough and CU gets a garbage time TD to make it look close.
  14. Yes, some of these laws do take things overboard. My brother in law was in a relationship and his girlfriend said he abused her and he gets on the sex offender list. She later comes clean and says she lied about it because she was upset with him. He's a super nice guy and she was verbally/emotionally abusive to him. Even though she said she lied about it his name can't be taken off the sex offender list.
  15. I think Martinez will show up big next week and wax a Pac team after receiving some criticism just like Frost did long ago.
  16. S&C has really shown on the guys, especially on D. Here's a few pics of the guys. There are more guys but these are the ones I quickly found. The pic with Stille with a mere mortal ref really stands out how huge these guys have become. Also Frost can probably lift more than half the qb's in the B1G.
  17. JoJo, Eric Lee came up big. Washington also looked better than Mills. Finally Garret Nelson looks like a blackshirt of old, I think he's going to have a great career. Edit, Jurgens did not have a good day at center.
  18. Frost wins a few coach of the year awards again, including best looking coach by Cosmo!
  19. I think we get back on the drafted list with a few this year. Potentials are Darrion Daniels, Mo Barry, Khalil Davis and Lamar Jackson. Maybe Spielman may have an opportunity to get drafted early. What do you guys think?
  20. There's no reasonable reason we should keep mentioning Diaco, the strain is spectacular! Do you feel the strain?
  21. I hate to say it but I think Walters becomes a head coach somewhere soon, especially if the offense plays well this year.
  22. That was satisfying to watch and it looks like the players were having a blast! Mo is looking really good, I think he'll have an awesome year (as long as he's cleared to play)
