The idea of Helfrich makes sense on a "ego" level for Frost. You KNOW he wants to be involved with playcalling, even if he is publicly saying he needs to get better at just overseeing the Team. Helfrich is one guy where Frost would have a harder time meddling with, simply because of their previous coaching relationship. And imo, the Duck offense does not bother me. It can work, it just needs someone who can call it with current and future purpose in a game.

Wasn't it Helfrich (announcer) in the MSU game that was calling O plays for MSU that were on point? Get him or Tony Romo...Romo, as much as I did not like him as a player, his ability to announce what the O should run is on point and is a sign of someone that gets rhythm in play calling

Frost has, through his own doing, made it to where the hiring of a ST Coach is needed simply because it will satisfy the court of public opinion...and he needs this easy win

I agree with this...6 is the 100% bare minimum and frankly I am more focused on outcome of the L's than the W's. If the L's are blowouts and the wins are tight than I don't know if 6 saves him.
