  1. Previous 5 Year Records (from most to least recent) TCU - 5-7, 6-4, 5-7, 7-6, 11-3 (2 losing seasons, 34-27 total) Oregon - 10-4, 4-3, 12-2, 9-4, 7-6 (0 losing seasons, 42-19 total) USC - 4-8, 5-1, 8-5, 5-7, 11-3 (2 losing seasons, 33-24 total) LSU - 6-7, 5-5, 15-0, 10-3, 9-4 (1 losing season, 45-19 total) Tennessee - 7-6, 3-7, 8-5, 5-7, 4-8 (3 losing seasons, 27-33 total) Nebraska - 3-9, 3-5, 5-7, 4-8, 4-8 (5 losing seasons, 19-37 total) We can flip our fate, but not as fast as these programs did. They were already set up to succeed, just needed the right guy to run the ship. We are more of a rebuild, and we don’t have the local talent like these schools do. I do think that we have the NIL advantage which can help us, but OL and DL are really important to recruit, and you have to have the right people recruiting them. We must hire the right guy based on results, not huskerboard fans’ feelings.
  2. 500!!! Absolute MILESTONE. 500 to go to reach next level.
  3. It has, I'm just too lazy to look through the (looks over page) 493 other pages. I mean, just look at me from now through November 27th. And the thought of it possibly being longer? Drains that mental juice.
  4. Yeah, I mean UMASS was the WORST team in college football last year
  5. I also learned that Whip is in love with the HB Draw ever since Rahmir had that one big run against Purdue Today, 4 of 5 draws went for negative or zero The positive went for 2
  6. @Mavric he is class of 2023 according to his twitter and 247 CB already in for N has interest from Bama, LSU, , and aTm but no offers yet Son of former LSU TE 16 pass TD, 4 INT, 3 rush TD according to MaxPreps
  7. I learned that... Minnesota would be undefeated if they started their backup rather than Morgan Mickey is NOT HC material, can't even stand up to Whip I should only ever watch one half of Husker football at the max (1st half: MN, IL; 2nd half: Rutgers, Purdue, IN) We will be stuck in an eternal abyss of bottom-dwelling if we get this hire wrong Creighton basketball is starting Monday
  8. The Huskers of NORTHWESTERN?!!! That's a new one, good job ESPN
  9. Huskers beat the Minnie Mice 23-17 Grant has a big day, over 120 on the ground Purdy targets his safety valve Vokolek, who catches 7 passes Purdy takes a hard hit and goes out Smothers comes in and leads 2 TD drives D forces 3 TOs, 2 fumbles and a big time pick D also forces 3 3-and-Outs We get 32 minutes TOP (alright, this might be too hopeful) GBR!
  10. NU - 23 Minnie Mouse - 17 Sky - 179 Ground - 213
  11. Man is desperate for reputation points. Funny thing is most of his reputation points are him being laughed at.
  12. I’m starting to think that most people go on this board while sitting on the pot, me included.
  13. While home field advantage is a 2-3 point swing in Vegas, CT is like a 14 point swing… and I may be lowballing that!
  14. Ummmm, did you watch last game? We contained Chase Brown for a lot of the game. He didn’t even get 150 on us. And that was considering that the D was on the field for practically the whole game, all wore down and still preventing the big runs.
  15. I’m starting to think that we just suck at crap shooting. Just ask the gingerhead man.
  16. Marcus Hendrickson - Director of Player Personnel The Lorax
  17. Well, there went our chance for Deion, he's going to Auburn now
  18. Completely agree. Thank you for expanding on my initial post. We have devoted so much of our recruiting on Edge rushers that we lack depth at Inside LB. For example, this year we recruited Ashley Williams, Cameron Lenhardt, Noonan, and Rogers (who I thought was LB but 247 has as Edge). We have one LB commit (Hayden Moore, who I actually really like, think he is underrated) who is our lowest rated commit. Yes, Edges might be LBs in some regard, but they aren't Inside LBs, a position we desperately need depth at.
  19. I don't understand all of the hate on our LBs. They can't ever stay healthy, but that is on S&C. They miss some tackles, but they were put in bad situations to begin with. If we had some hogs at DT that could collapse the interior run game, the LBs would only have to contain the outside. They wouldn't have to worry about Brown, Ibrahim, or Allen straight up the gut. From being a Walk-On to a competent starter on D, I am impressed by Reimer. He makes plays when he has to. He is not extremely consistent, yet is still one of the most consistent on our D. We just need to improve everything, but these LBs don't deserve all the hate they get.
  20. Agreed, I say we give Smothers a shot. WHAT DO WE HAVE TO LOSE?!!!
  21. Geez @Huskerfollower4life lighten up, just making fun of his gum chewing prowess
