  1. Let's see, nothing going on this site, no new topics of note, and I have the audacity to post something that 1/2 the people ridicule me for, and the other half have fun with it, and this is a bad thing, and I shouldn't have been able to post this because I haven't posted enough? I think it's good to know that about 1/2 our fan base doesn't take things too seriously and like to have fun.
  2. Untimely fumbles, interceptions, penalties, high snaps, are all part of the effect of the "curse" which, in my opinion, started after firing Frank Solich and developed into a pandemic after firing Pelini. Was it bestowed upon us by the Football Gods for the crime of firing a coach with a winning season? Or was it a way of punishing an entitled and sometimes ill-tempered fan base to accept an inept football existence?
  3. I learned, at my age chances are, the 90's will have been the last fun time in my life as a husker fan I expect a 5-7 record next season and that's being optimistic.
  4. I learned you don't have to actually watch these games to know that, like the song says "same as it ever was" should be incorporated into a Nebraska football theme song
  5. yeah WTF was THAT? someone should be crucified for calling that play- the back was 9 yards from the line of scrimmage- please learn from the Eagles how you gain one yard
  6. riddle me this, why did the Nebraska coach cross the road? because he was following his c$%k's decision as my tagline says I'm not happy till you're not happy
  7. hey I was wondering if Satts was involved in making number 9 a QB spy on the over-time plays, saw it at least 2 times- I love Ty but my god, just because his name rhymes with spy isn't a reason to match up with a guy that runs a 4.5 40
  8. I'm wondering how we will lose to Iowa......well at least we still have the number one turnover margin - that was the cherry on the top-
  9. wouldn't matter because we went on 4th and one and ran a trap play or whatever that mess was- another lost opportunity - the more we change the more it stays the same
  10. no turnovers all night it'd be amazing to see us get one
  11. say what you will about giving up on watching this crapola, it does tend to be better for the blood pressure reading to just have an internet feed on game-cast- besides normally it doesn't matter if I watch the loss or not- you critics should try it sometime instead of posting your not so clever comments and memes.......3-2-1
  12. stopped watching- I've seen this game 100 times and it never ends well
  13. If we are getting "real" we should embrace our number one ranking in turnover margin, because that's the only thing we have a chance at being first in anything football related. on another note, if you didn't suck for the $6 ransom to see the freak show called Maryland vs Nebraska, will you pay for the Wisconsin vs Nebraska sequel ?
  14. "that used to be our cross to bare, making loser QB's look like the second coming of Joe Willie Namath, having RB's that broke their legs the game before come back and hang 100 on us, and having mediocre WR's catching balls with one hand, while being double covered with our Db's flailing around like fish out of water drawing PI flags, as an insurance policy, in the rare occasions they go out bounds before catching the ball- The New Nebraska, simply fails to call plays that make situational sense, and we now find creative ways for our QB's to insure our number one ranking in turn-overs doesn't fall.
  15. I'm with you- not signing up and not watching the game were my lessons learned by first watching our MSU disaster, and secondly, because of that decisiion I learned I'm almost feeling splendiferous about not paying for or having to watch this abomination.
  16. I learned that if you want to beat Nebraska, stack the box with 8-9 people and dare us to pass.
  17. I know inculcating the OL's blocking ability is popular, but really at this point with a QB that holds the ball and acts like a Keystone Cop in the pocket, and the defense daring that QB to beat us with his short-stop arm and lamentable progressions, asking 5 guys to open up holes for running against 7-9 players, seems a bit much- not saying they're 1995 type guys but, they aren't that bad considering all the other poo-poo on the O side
  18. I'll add to this, a guy could also not fog up a mirror put under his nose and be a better option
  19. I actually think our OL played decent- our QB has no idea what to do if his first receiver is not open, in most cases he had plenty of time to throw- 75% of all the sacks he takes is on him- if there is even one person within 6 feet of him he seems to run right into that guy- straight line running no problem- pocket presence terrible
  20. Our first quarter habit of giving up the football, will stop MSU from packing it in- expect the same sloppy play that might allow them to win. I hope not, but being only 4 point favorites against the worst team in the league?? - Vegas knows us, they only get it wrong- like last games spread, because of our D's tenacity and the ineptitude of the other team's O
  21. Pointing out HH's short comings, as Clint Eastwood said...."A man needs to know his limitations" if we want to progress past a lets make the Cheetos bowl type record, (yes good goal this year) and play with the big boys, we need to understand the limitations of HH- he is the man for this season, but we need a P-5 QB next year, unfortunately, even running the option, which also limits us, he isn't at his best. Unless it is straight line running, he isn't at his best, we know his passing accuracy, and release limit us, he's not a P-5 caliber QB and no amount of practice will change that, so next year lets get a P-5 QB - maybe that is a freshman, maybe a transfer, but HH at QB next year would be a limitation on our progress as a team. BUT- this year he's all we got so GBR
  22. well color me wrong, and surprised - my over under was wrong, my prediction that they'd win was wrong, and my "less than 2 TD's" was wrong- trifecta I'd say, so that's generally not a bad thing- think consistency - good right?
