  1. Hell no! By I was quite entertained by all the ridiculousness in my Facebook feed. One guy and his girlfriend wore matching V-Day outfits!
  2. If you have FuelTV, make sure to watch Omaha native Jake "The Juggernaut" Ellenberger fight Diego "The Dream" Sanchez. Coming up soon!

  6. Jason Whitlock apologizes for his unfunny Jeremy Lin comment on Twitter You're an NBA fan. Dissatisfied with the typical online outlets, you're coming to an NBA-obsessive blog on a Monday to read more than what the more orthodox NBA media outlets are giving you. You search and you scour for takes and columns and Tweets and video and you'll do it all again come Tuesday morning. Tell me, have you ever read a Jason Whitlock column on the NBA? Do you even think to go to him when NBA news breaks? Jason Whitlock knows this. He's also an unfunny boor with a massive ego, and the combination of those factors plus his NBA irrelevancy leads to Twitter comments like this, in the wake of Jeremy Lin's brilliant 38-point performance against the Knicks on Friday night: "Some lucky lady in NYC is going to feel a couple of inches of pain tonight." There are funny jokes, and then there are unfunny jokes that mix with needless racial stereotyping and the laziness that comes from not even bothering to look up the fact that the Knicks would be flying to Minneapolis directly after Friday's game. On Sunday, after much criticism and derision, Whitlock came through with an apology of sorts: I then gave in to another part of my personality - my immature, sophomoric, comedic nature. It's been with me since birth, a gift from my mother and honed as a child listening to my godmother's Richard Pryor albums. I still want to be a standup comedian. http://sports.yahoo....-145934497.html What kills me about this "incident," is that Whitlock is always one of the first to throw out the race card/stereotyping angle when it benefits a "story" of his.
  7. I Googled it. Apparently it's a game, which is why it was posted here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:_Shadow_of_Chernobyl
  8. I've been watching "Monty Python's Flying Circus" the past few days. It's pretty funny. I also watched a couple episodes of "Kolchak: The Night Stalker." Basically this guy (Darren McGavin, the dad from A Christmas Story) is a Chicago newspaper reporter who investigates mysterious crimes with unlikely causes, particularly ones law enforcement authorities won't pursue. Often these crimes involve some element of the supernatural or science fiction, such as fantastical creatures. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolchak:_The_Night_Stalker They only did one season of 20 episodes. Then they tried to bring it back in 2005 under the name "The Night Stalker" It doesn't take itself too seriously, which I tend to like. Kinda funny at times. More of a "on in the background" type of show.
  9. BTW, Carlos Alazraqui from Reno 911 did Rocko's voice back in the day
  10. This thread should never be neglected like this. I'm disappointed.
  11. I'm not a big NBA guy, but Jeremy Lin played VERY well tonight.

  13. I tend to agree with that most of the time. Although I do like some on my pulled pork sandwich from this bbq place in town (my uncle used to own it, ndb).
  14. GSG's Super Simple Cole Slaw Recipe Ingredients: None. How to prepare: 1. Get dressed. 2. Drive to a local place that serves cole slaw (KFC, a deli, etc) 3. Buy enough cole slaw to fulfill your needs. 4. Drive home. 5. Eat cole slaw. And there it is! See how simple making cole slaw can be?!
  15. That's better than the story from Tennessee about the double murder because a couple "defriended" a woman on Facebook
