I know some parents who were at that tournament. It was such a nothing thing that nobody even talked about it until I asked them, and they basically said the same thing - it was a pretty normal dispute you see at tournaments like this. Pretty much everyone, from both teams, was upset at this ump. The umps take a LOT of grief from the stands at these tournaments, and while I don't agree with it, it happens all the time. I have not heard that Bo was asked to leave. This tournament was held in June but the first anyone heard about it was last week, apparently because in the retelling of this "incident" the story seems to get embellished. Pretty soon we're going to find out that nobody has any clear memories of it because Tom Osborne called in the Men in Black and had them clean the situation up. Look here at this light... The story I was told has Bo decapitating the umpire with a samurai sword signed by Randy Jackson, and then punting a lady's baby into a busy intersection. Then he ordered 3 hotdogs from the concession stand and ate them... WITHOUT PAYING!!

This Went to the 06' game at ISU and two drunk ISU fans were bulldozing their way through the crowd almost knocking over these two older couple in their mid to late 40's. After pushing buy the older couple they shoved my wife (girlfriend at the time) and I got pissed off and told them to calm down and that everybody will get in the stadium eventually. They told me to "F off you f'ing Husker fan" so I got in one of their faces but my brother in law came to my aid and pulled me away from the douchebags and we left. Same game: I had a little ISU skank punch me in the face for cheering. We were on the grassy area with a ton of Husker fans. Her boyfriend looked at us, grabbed her and they high-tailed it out of there. Either I know you, or this was a common occurence that year. Had a group of friends go to that game, apparently some psycho b*tch punched one of the guys in the face (sidenote: he's a big guy, I'd never have the balls to punch him in the face). I don't remember the details anymore, but it was apparently evident the NU fans had done nothing to provoke it. The police got involved and everyone around - including several ISU fans - assured the officers the guy was at no fault. I don't think we had any cops for that. I just laughed it off. Later on, there was some high school punk that literally came down from the stands to try to fight all of us. Security had to throw him out twice

Where did you go? Do you live by most of the guys still? I went to Cornell College in Iowa. I don't live by any of them anymore. One guy spends half the year in Minnesota and half in Colorado and that's about the closest. There are a few that live in Des Moines, but that's farther away than Colorado for me.

I didn't go to UNL but I still talk to almost all the people I lived with over my 4 years. There are a couple that I haven't heard from, but most of us are still pretty tight.

Bo mentioned in some interviews yesterday that he would like to see a freshmen ineligiblity rule. He believes it would help with the on-field product as well as help they kids get acclimated to balancing college classes, athletics, and college life. I'm kind of on the fence about this. I can definitely see the benefits, but there are some of these kids that blow up their freshmen year. Do you want to take that away from them? What do you think?

Did you have to bring up his name? I am not kidding in saying that I could have had a better PR average than he did...and that isn't saying much. Most of the reason I used Santino's name was due to the fact that I've seen where he's been doing MMA fights. Plus a cage-fighting injury is about as likely as Bo telling all of his best friends in the media to keep Taylor's bionic elbow under wraps

They look fine. I work with a couple Wyoming alums, they aren't real happy about "messing with tradition" The brown helmets look like they're made of chocolate. Fittingly so because Wyoming's football team usually MELTS on Saturdays
