  1. Hell yeah! Let me go get my torch and pitchfork so I can join this mob!! lol
  2. I really don't want to get into a "the refs screwed us" conversation, but that's the part that really confused me. Why not at least take a look at it? I will definitely second that motion.
  3. Thank you. That's what I'm doing. Ain't nobody forcing you to read this thread. You are exactly right, no one is forcing me to read it. However, I am allowed to have my opinions about your posts or anyone's posts just as much as the next guy is about mine. It just gets a little tiresome seeing you go all "high and mighty" all over the board. Ain't nobody forcing you to read my posts. Click This The ignore function is for tossers and sheep-shaggers. Besides if I can't read any of your all mighty wisdom, how am I going to know what to think and feel?
  4. Do you know how to manage a football game? Heck no, I just didn't see anything that impressive in Zac Lee except he has some wheels. Several passes were close to being picked. Does Cody Green deliver any less? If the answer is "no", then you play him if he's your future. The answer is yes, Green does deliver much less. According to Watson, he only knows 17 plays!!

  6. I think that it should have been a TD, but I kept thinking about the TD they waved off in the Raiders-Chargers game because the guy didn't go to the ground while securing the ball. It might be a different rule for college though, plus Holt went out of bounds, so who knows.
  7. This was one of those games where our defensive game plan worked to perfection, other than 1 or 2 plays. We definitely kept Taylor from beating us with his legs, which was a major concern. I think the D will be ready to go the rest of the year.
  8. Was definitely a great game to watch. Good luck the rest of the season Hokie fans! I think most of the Big Red Nation has your backs the rest of the way!
  9. I was waiting for this thread. Zac's the starter. I'm going to leave it at that.
  10. Right. We should all just be wallowing in self-pity and pissing and moaning about this, because that's the kind of attitude this program was built on. You're missing the point. I'm not saying anyone should be doing anything, one way or the other. I find it hilarious that you seem to believe that you have the authority to tell people what the can or cannot do and how they should or should not feel about a game. In the end, everybody is a Husker fan. But after a close, heart-breaking loss like that, you seem to have ALL the answers; what calls to make on the field, how everyone should be acting, etc. It honestly cracks me up, but not a really hilarious way. You're defending someone's right to call out the coaches, the players or in general whine about this loss. Sure, it's a free country. But that doesn't make it right, nor does that make such behavior appropriate for a fan base who stands for what Nebraska claims to stand for. I'm defending the right of everyone to speak their minds about whatever they damn well please. I'm not sure what any of that has to do with "what Nebraska claims to stand for." As native Nebraskan, I've always been taught that you take responsibility for your actions, words, etc. I've also been taught that everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter if someone else views it as right or wrong. Everyone comes to message boards to vent, discuss, etc. The more the merrier in my opinion. I just find it a little bizarre that you come on here and tell everyone how they should feel and what they should say about the game, the coaches, the players, the chick in the 3rd row, etc.

  12. All hail the king of teh interwebs!! I agree with most of what you are saying, but YOU have no right, nor are you in any position to tell anyone what they are allowed to discuss (complain, bitch, moan, cry, etc) about on a FREE internet forum. Save your holier than thou speeches, because nobody cares.
  13. It doesn't matter how many times you post your favorite gripe, in five dozen threads, that was the correct call. Big Willie explained it to you, and if you were watching the game you should understand why we punted. We are going to be just fine. This is one loss, by one point, in a tremendously difficult environment. Let's not blow this thing completely out of proportion. Well God bless BigWillie. His explanation, like everyone else's, including mine, is wholly a matter of opinion. What everyone seems to overlook who presents it, however, is that even in the off-chance the conversion didn't work, we still would have had our stellar defense defending sixty yards of turf against a poor passing team with zero timeouts. In my favorite bitch scenario, we got two chances. Can't take back time, though, more's the pity. But please, save the patronizing for someone else. I'm in the same boat. I say we should have gone for it. Go big or go home. I'd rather die trying to WIN the game, than die trying NOT TO LOSE.
  14. They're just college kids. What do you expect? Considering the way a lot of people raise their kids, not much. I guess I don't expect those things from myself and MY fellow collegians.
  15. Craig James' real name is Jesse Craig James. His nickname is "Pony." That is all...
  16. I know you're just messing around, but I think I found a picture of what the helmet would look like...
  17. I couldn't agree more. After listening to Pelini's locker room speech, I was so jacked up I peed a little!
  18. Just a little extra motivation for us to be loud, although I think most of our fans don't read too much into that. He's right, we don't play the game, but we think we do. "Man, I just hate losing here," Anderson said. "I don't like losing to these fans. They think they play, too. That's what's good about playing for Virginia Tech... (Syracuse QB RJ Anderson, 2003) That's all well and good, and it's how all fans should feel about their team. I'm referring to the comments like "Pelini is a jerk" and the part where some guy calls a girl a whore because she thinks the Swamp is louder.
  19. From Yahoo!'s Cage Writer Blog I lol'ed at this, big time.
  20. I cannot believe they let him finish the fight. It looked like someone slaughtered a cow in there.
  21. The comments on there are ridiculous. Talk about blowing things out of proportion.
  22. I think I win on account of my boss buying me a Husker cake for my birthday today!
  23. Talk about a tale of two halves. I even dug my Clemson hat out of the closet! Sorry KC. Your boys put up a good fight!
  24. That was pretty awful. I'm not going to turn vegan though.
