The cynic in me says this was a make-up penalty for previous offenses. They don't need her for the '15 World Cup or the '16 Olympics anymore.

I thought the comments were really poor. But if there were a time she deserved to have her contract terminated, seems like it should have been earlier and not after saying some things she should apologize for.
