  1. yeah he did look really big, I didn't recongize him.
  2. I can't believe that I watched the whole thing. It's a sad moment right about now.
  3. No. I still don't get it. You want teams from your conference, as in Missouri to do well outside of conference play. Therefore it makes your own team (the Nebraska Cornhuskers I am assuming are 'your team') look better whether you win or lose to them. Buffalo is a good story and a great story for Gill. But face it...they are a less than average D-1 school. They are a mid-major. If they beat Missouri, and then Missouri comes and beats us....how do we look? Anyway...good for Gill and the Bulls. If he puts together even another AVERAGE season there...maybe even get them bowl eligible...he will be moving up the ladder to a bigger program guaranteed. still though...wouldn't a small part of you like to see it? Mizzous only two losses this year, Buffalo and Nebraska Hell yeah! you got that right.
  4. Good question, i guess he has a better grasp of the defense then Thanarse. Thanarse is probably making too many mental mistakes in practice.
  5. That's a damn good thing they got going there.
  6. He had Ohio St. at #5, what an idiot. They should be the #1 or #2 team.

  8. Yeah, its time to get over it. Have you even listened to this guy in the last several years. He disrespects the huskers AND big 12 all the time! You can keep kissing his ass, me I can't stand bias that blatant, unless it's from a huskerboard member of course! I'm not "kissing his ass." All I said was get over it. You sound like a girl that got dumped 3 years ago and is still bitter about it.
  9. Most of us would like to do the same but can't. I am a soldier and they came down to picket a funeral of a dead soldier in McDonald County MO. We were instructed not to lay a single finger on them. They have lawyers and will put you in the hurt locker if you touch them. I don't know what picketing is going to do at a football game, I"ll be in the stands watching the game, not them.
  10. I think best case NU can go 8-4, so 7-5 isn't a bad prediction.
  11. From a previous thread: Nebraska Linebacker Granted Medical Redshirt LINCOLN (AP) - Nebraska middle linebacker Corey McKeon was granted a medical redshirt by the NCAA Monday, after not participating in the majority of Nebraska's 2007 games. As a result of the ruling, McKeon has been granted one extra year of eligibility, meaning he will be able to return to the field for the 2008 season. Under NCAA regulations, a player may be granted a medical hardship waiver if he or she does not participate in more than 20 percent of the team's games, with all participation occuring during the first half of the season. Nebraska athletic department officials reviewed game film and determined that McKeon did not actually participate in any of Nebraska's final ten games of the 2007 season, "Participate is defined as 'taking part in something,'" explained Nebraska Director Of Football Operations Jeff Jamrog. "We contended, and the NCAA agreed, that Corey didn't really take part in the final ten games." NCAA Vice President Gary McIntosh declined to comment, other than saying "That game film speaks for itself." I'm wondering why I haven't heard of this yet.
  12. I honestly think that the defense will be much improved from last year. I'm not just saying that because I'm a hard core Nebraska fan, but I believe that Coach Pelini has the gift to turn things around.
  13. I wish I could of been at that Golf event to see him get fired up.
  14. I would personaly like an offense like West Virginia. With a QB that can throw and run, plus spread out the defense like Mizzou and Tech.
  15. I think they should let Prince Amukamura(SP?) handle the kick offs and punt returns. He can really go.
  16. I think the Pelini Brothers can make it happen.
