  1. All the more reason for the huskers to win this sat. GBR
  2. It's a good crew. They let the players play, very few missed calls
  3. The same crew that did the OU/Oakie state game is officidating the Big12 CCG
  4. I liked how Mack noted how close the Huskers are to being undefeated this year
  5. The entire team has looked "tired" since the OU game. I think the extra day off will help immensely. With a little rest, i expect an effort similiar to the OU game against Texas. GBR
  6. Niles has speed, which can't be coached, but IMO he isn't NFL material
  7. I had the same tickets one time.! Got stuck between 2 women that each weighed at least 350 lbs. I could barely breath. They were the runza dudes best customers
  8. Mangina is a great coach, GET THAT MAN A CHEESEBURGER! Having said that, I hope they replace him with CALLAHAN
  9. Signature loss had to be to Oklahoma in Big12 CC game. Down 21 points in like 2 minutes. While we were in the stands freezing to death
  10. I remember a certian kick at mizzery the year we won the NC
  11. If you want a black out, go to boulder. Memorial stadium is a sea of red
  12. I always like Turner Gill. As a coach, he has accomplished so much with so little!!!!
  13. On espn right now. Who do you root for?
  14. I assumed there no an alcohol "No tolerance policy" Maybe it was just bars on O st. I don't know. Does anyone know what the current rules for the football team is in regards to alcohol?
  15. Ok, so now we have a "sorta zero tolerance" policy As long as we are all on the same page. The #1 player on the team breaks team rules, rather than punish the player, we interpet the rules so that he can continue to play? I'm a big Suh fan, but as a leader on the field, he has to be a leader off the field. I would have more respect for him if got some type of punishment rather than running stairs. It is a petty offense, it sucks, but rules are rules.
  16. I think that's what i've been saying all along, was that he COULD have been charged. Obviously it happened at some point, or else the precedent wouldn't be there. Not wrong, I posted the law, and pointed out that Suh could have been charged under the law. Other people are posting opinions. Here's the Zero Tolerance thing, do you guys seriously not know how to use Google? From back in 2008, Suh probably violated the policy, Pelini will handle it internally as always, life will move on. If it were Christiansen or Niles Paul, I would highly doubt that they would play the rest of the year after their earlier violations. http://www.ketv.com/bigredzone/15566877/detail.html Pelini said. "I talked with the entire team last night and clearly explained to them that from this point forward, we will have a zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol and social responsibility. Our players understand the intent of this rule and what we are trying to accomplish. Therefore, any violation will be handled individually as it pertains to the specific circumstance. "Our players also understand that certain establishments are off limits, and that the policy also pertains to their behavior in other social settings. I made it clear to them that our policy will be strictly enforced. "Coach Osborne, myself, and our staff are all in agreement that the culture of this program will be one centered on respect, integrity and discipline. We all agree that culture must extend well beyond the football field." Exactly, Zero tolereance is zero tolerance, this is a football team rule, not the law that we are talking about. Suh broke a team rule, like it or not. There has to be some sort of peanalty, or you have to lose respect for Pellini. Would benching him the first quarter of the OU game be severe enough or not? It sucks, but rules are rules.
  17. Team has ZERO TOLERANCE rule. Sorry, but .035 is over zero. (yes N stands for knowlege) Team super star broke team rules, there has to be some type of punishment! Hey, I'm a big Suh fan, but rules are rules. Just because he is a super star, he can't get special treatment. If he gets special treatment, who else has a seperate set of rules? all starters etc? where do you draw the line?
  18. TEAM HAS ZERO TOLERANCE RULE WHEN IT COMES TO ALCOHOL. SUH VIOLATES RULE WHAT IS PUNISHMENT?
  19. Will this be a coaches decision, or does this go to the unity council? He was under the legal limit, but does the team have a zero tolerance policy?
  20. they had negative 10 yards at the end of the first quarter
