  1. I don't know. If I am Arnod I'm pretty unhappy with him right now. If he really wanted to go for 2 I would have liked to have the chance. Instead of some lame low percentage fake with a holder throwing the ball. Don't we always have Hagg or someone back there?
  2. I think if there would have been a clear enough view that play would have been overturned. It looked like his knee was down when the ISU player made the strip motion. It was just unfortunate that you couldn't clearly see the location of the ball when the knee was down. I'm pissed that their douchey coach got the call changed.
  3. Why does our fate rest on the hands of Niles f'ing Paul???
  4. I think its the other way around. Gabbert is clearly leading with the crown of his helmet.

  6. I'm actually watching a replay of the Oregon-USC game right now and caught a nasty hit that a USC safety laid on a receiver (9:40 in 3rd, in air, crown-on-facemask) that made the him drop the ball and both Herbie and Mushbooger didn't say a word. It was a great football hit, I had no problem with it but it probably met the criteria for a suspension in the Big12. Neither one of the guys started a crusade for flag football. I found myself actually wanting these guys to call our games. Crazy world we live in...
  7. There are three kinds of lies: lies, damn lies, and statistics... This is junk reasoning and proof. Review each play of each game objectively and count no-calls, then tell me we're getting screwed. Sometimes sh#t is just missed. Except for Gabbert's fumble, that was a make-up call for the "helmet-to-helmet". They really need to change the name of the rule to "leading with the crown". Everyone misinterprets it just because of the name of the rule, just like the horse-collar tackle. They now throw the flag any time you touch the collar, but the rule states that a player must be brought to the ground by the collar.
  8. 2 minutes left, on your own 10 and down by 11. Why on earth do you punt???? May as well throw the ball up and if it doesn't work out, Mizzou runs the clock out.
  9. Lets just do what Leach did at Tech - Tennis Balls. Make them catch tennis balls for hours. Can't quit until you do 50 in a row. That'll learn em.
  10. I don't want to sound like a pansy, but we do have two great indoor fields they could practice on. Just until it stops being so damn brutal outside. Just a thought.
  11. The $1K I shelled out for season tickets is totally worth it for just this one game. I was in Dallas that night, and if I could have, I would have driven until I got to the Oklahoma border and slept there. I wanted nothing but to get out of that f*cking state that night.
  12. I'm pretty sure it was his last year (Callahan's first?). It was awesome.
  13. I'm looking for a video of Daniel Bullocks straight up robbing some running back (?) and taking it to the house for 6. Let me know if you have a link.
  14. Iowa sucks. As a state, as a football team, as a word. It totally sucks. Who really thinks this is a good/realistic idea?
  15. Did you even read the post? The call wasn't correct. I'm not sure I have actually seen a proper horsecollar call in any game this season. It isn't like facemask, where you just can't touch it for any reason. As it is currently written, the player must be tackled by the collar and brought to the ground. Assante grabbed the collar and slowed him down, then let go as others tackled him.
  16. He said it in front of reporters, publicly. Are you arguing that people can say whatever they want as long as there isn't a microphone involved? why? It clearly says that this was said in the locker room, but could be heard because the door was still open. Get off your high horse. Whatever is said in the locker room is none of anyone's business but the team itself. Hell, the article doesn't even say that a coach said it. It could have been a player that yelled it for all we know. Reading comprehension...
  17. as i stated before it was completely legal Oh, I didn't see that. Don't worry about that investigation...
  18. How are some of you guys not mad that this MAY have been an illegal review??? I just don't get it? If it isn't reviewable than it shouldn't have been reviewed. This should be investigated and, if they blew the call, then NU deserves a PUBLIC apology from the conference.
  19. Have fun getting completely rolled by Bama. Enjoy.
  20. I ordered mine online through the ticket office (as a donor) and haven't heard jack squat yet. No email, nothing in the mail. I'll probably call the ticket office in the morning, just curious if anyone has theirs.
  21. Why not? Maybe have it go to each B-12 team's homefield..alternating North and South..with a back-up location from the same division if one of the host teams are in it. I don't think you can move a game potentially the week before it's played. Suppose it was to be in Lincoln but we didn't have it wrapped up until the CU game. Texas fans are on hold trying to figure out where to fly to. And the stadium might be a lot smaller, so you can't even sell all of the tickets until you know for sure where it will be. I don't see what's broke about it now. All I've seen is flat out wrong assumptions that Texas was allotted more tickets, and that the south had hosted more games than the north. You really need to get the facts straight before you try to fix a problem that may not even exist. I can see an argument for giving more tickets to the two teams playing. That's not hard to fix. Give them more tickets. It doesn't matter where the game is played. Why are you repeating this crap? Both teams were alotted the same amount through their ticket offices. The rest were sold to either regular Dallas ticketholders or ticket dealers. Texas has known they will be playing for a while now and have had more chances to buy tickets through these sites. Also, both divisions have hosted the same amount of games up until next year when the game is in Jerry's house again.
  22. Stadium Map (PDF) FYI: We are on the Cowboys side. Texas will be on the Visitors side.
