  1. The state constitutions are not just for their consideration - it's the law.
  2. I didn't realize that was an option. I've got a 13 yo that's one more eye roll away from me considering it...
  3. I'm saying there's no evidence of selective enforcement. There's been no enforcement at all up to this point, let alone it being selective. I don't have any issue with the questions you're asking, I just don't agree with the conclusions you're suggesting.
  4. So you're just salty Michigan got caught. Got it.
  5. Are you arguing that there should be no enforcement of the rules since there is cheating going on? Even when someone gets caught cheating?
  6. If you choose to cheat, then you also choose to suffer the consequences of you're caught. That's not unfair. Others cheating but not getting caught is also not unfair. Enforcement making an example out of one is also not unfair. If you think any of that is unfair, then don't cheat. What would be unfair is if enforcement caught multiple cheaters but only one suffered consequences, which isn't what is happening in this case since only Michigan has been caught.
  7. Getting caught for cheating and suffering the consequences is not unfair no matter how widespread it is. It would only be unfair if multiple teams were caught for cheating and all of them did not suffer the consequences.
  8. Michigan is clearly in deep s#!t and is now going to try the old SWAC approach of ratting out everyone else. SMU got the death penalty back then - Michigan probably going to get off a whole lot easier.
  9. You're surprised that a team doing really well might also be cheating? If getting caught cheating does not come with consequences, then the integrity of the game will be compromised. Like boxing.
  10. As teach said, we can't pause the games, so letting the process play out is basically letting Michigan get away with it. And if other coaches are doing it too, then same punishment for them. Doing nothing because others might be guilty too is ridiculous.
  11. The other side of the coin is that if you let Jim and Michigan get away with it, you've cheated a bunch of other teams out of possible wins and will unleash every team to do everything in their power to start stealing signs, practice film, etc.
  12. Huskers 10 Maryland 28 Rushing 145 Passing 120
  13. At least there's still something to play for down the stretch unlike most of the last decade.
  14. This doesn't change the evidence. I was a bit on the fence whether Michigan as an institution knew what was going on, but this makes them look guilty as hell trying to impugn the messenger instead of refuting the evidence.
  15. I'm going to throw out what I think is a fair and just punishment is for any team caught stealing signals: However many games that cheating team is determined to have used signal stealing, that team must publicly release their signals for the same number of games. Illegal procedure penalty if they run a play other than the one that was signaled.
  16. I think the OL was struggling badly early in the season but slowly was getting better each week before he injuries. Going from abysmal to bad to below average isn't what we all wanted, but it's progress from where we've been.
  17. Maybe start calling them the Erines or Verines? There are quite a few teams with "wolf" in their name.
  18. I'm just not going to watch that game. Hopefully the viewership will be so low that Peacock goes under.
