  1. The X is a legit beast of a console. Can’t wait to get a 4K TV this Holiday Season to stretch its legs...

Plus the beauty of the XBO:X is that it's backwards compatible, and they're even providing XBO:X upgrades to 360 titles (e.g. Halo 3, Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion).

I highly recommend a XBO:X for third party console, online gaming, and MS exclusive titles. It's the most impressive system I've seen since when the 3DO dropped.

Good on the backwards compatibility. I remember feeling pretty hosed when Sony decided to not make their later run PS3's backwards compatible. Shameless money grub, IMO.

I'm personally holding out and going to try to grab a Switch this Christmas as well. But now I'm tempted to look at that...

For the rig, I specifically really nice monitor not too long ago that was Freesync capable because I was planning to put a Vega in this baby. But then that launch kind of flopped... Holding out to see if I can find one discounted around Black Friday.

Perhaps get a 2K monitor instead with FreeSync? Not only will it work for your PC, but the XBO:X also outputs natively at 1440p (2K), and is rumored to support both AMD and NVIDIA monitor sync platforms in the very near future.
