I agree with what Kirk Herbstreit has been saying for years. There needs to be a Plus 1 format for college football, A Final Four if you will. #1 BCS vs #4 BCS #2 BCS vs #3 BCS Winners play in the Championship game. A playoff would take away from what makes college football so unique, in that EVERY REGULAR SEASON GAME MATTERS! Teams can't win National Championships if they have a few hiccups during the regular season, but can "turn it on" for the playoffs. If a playoff were to be used in college football, it would devastate the sport.

Most obnoxious fans in college football.... Ohio State. Sorry Bo. They play in the Little 11, beating up on the worst BCS teams in college football, while getting absolutely destroyed by any sort of team with a pulse. They feel that they are entitled to be included among the elites of college football, when in reality, they are nowhere near elite. Sorry Bo.

Yes, but Bo's name still means quite a bit to the people in Louisiana. I think we have a very legit shot at this kid. This is the recruit I want the most right now. I can't stress enough, we need more speed from our playmakers.

I'd love for Curtis to be made into a WR/PR/KR man, we need more speed on the offensive side of the ball. If we get him N, our receiving core could be very dangerous for years to come, to go along with Anthony Bell and Keeston Terry (who's tearing it up this summer ).

We could certainly use him. He was the recruit I was most excited about, outside of Baker, for the 2008 class.

Sean Fisher and Matt May. Our linebackers should be greatly improved from last season. I must say, I'd love to have Cody Glenn back for another year though!

I agree. Don't think he'll be firm come signing day. Would love to him, but I just don't see it happening.

Tech: L 20-28 - Va Tech, like us, will be MUCH better in 09. Our offense just isn't there yet. Louisiana-Lafayette: W 38-17 - One more warmup before we strap it up for BigXII play. @ Missouri: W 31-24 - Tough to win at Folsom in recent years: Blaine Gabbert, meet Ndamukong Suh. Texas Tech: W 41-35 - Tech lacks playmakers now that Crabtree left, should've beaten them last year. Iowa State: W 45-7 - Paul Rhodes is going to have a very long season. @ Baylor: W 31-27 - Robert Griffin scares the hell out of me. If he was healthy, Baylor beats us last year. Oklahoma: L 35-49 - Bradford, Murray, Gresham. Too much of a talent gap between us and OU. @ Kansas: W 45-42 - This will be similar to the TTech game last year. Shootout, but our D wins it in the 4th. Kansas State: W 41-0 - Bill Snyder's has a long way to go before the PussyCats are respectable. @ Colorado: W 41-38 - Always a tough game for the Big Red to win in Boulder. They always play us tough. BigXII Championship Game Vs OU/UT: L 24-41 - Simply put, we just aren't there yet. AT&T Cotton Bowl Vs LSU: L 27-31 - You think Bo wants to win this game? We aren't there yet. 10-4 Big 12 North Champs...a step in the right direction for the Huskers. We should be more than happy to have this type of season. Oh and I almost forgot...I said at this time last year, that the 08 huskers would go 8-4 with losses to Va tech, Missouri, Texas Tech, and OU, and would go on to win the Alamo Bowl. Granted, my bowl game prediction was a bit off, but you get the point.

best play in our playbook against an aggressive defense on 3rd and medium/long. I kept thinking to myself that we didn't run it nearly as much as we did in 06 and 07. That play was probably the best thing that Cally did for this program. Was ran beautifully with Marlon vs Baylor in 08. That play was best suited for Marlon, as he did some great things in the open field.
