Wow practiceing in half pads must have really wore him out or maybe it was his mouth running all the time that got to him!!! IMO if he does make a NFL team an gets with the right coach me might be good but I dont see it!!!

MO has such a great relationship with BC cause after his stupid mistakes he had to kiss BC's a$$ so much to get back on the team... I figured there had to be a reason why he was playing jr college football and no one wanted him.. I agree we had this guys back when he was down and out, so why make stupid comments... IF he makes it to the NFL I cant wait till someone lays his a$$ out!!!

I think this will be good for Nebraska. Great advertiseing cause you know they will talk about BO being the Husker coach a few times during the game.. Everyone has there own opinions on if this is good or not but its not our choice its BO's and TO's and they made what they thought was the best choice... Think about what you would want if the roles were reversed and we were in the NC and BO was going to another school to coach.. I can bet most of us if not all would want him to coach that one last game if he could.. IMO this will be fine nothing to do here during that time and when its over he will focus on the Huskers!!

You must be blind...she's the hottest one on there. I voted about 15 times, and although she is catching up, she's 30K behind. Everyone should help out. I've seen it before when Nebraska gets behind our candidates (ask Kirk Herbstreit). PS - the polling seems really weird, and skewed. Most of the country is voting for Anne except for about 4 states. They must have tons of votes coming in from those states to be that far ahead. 30k is alot to overcome.. When does it end??

Nope, that's the right guy. I would have liked to see him get a chance to come back here, but he's probably pretty happy where he's at. Well the reason I asked was I thought I heard he might be coming back.. I heard TO wanted him back really bad and that he wanted to get out of LA an come back to Nebraska just wondering what happen with that ??

Better question to ask is will BO make a change if these guys dont work out?? I mean there is a time when you dont want to look like an idiot if things start falling apart, but can you be man enough to make a change if need be unlike what BC chose not to do... Just not sold on Cotton.. I guess I expected other assistants from LSU or some where else....

I will agree Neb was built on running but what BC did show us is we can score points in a hurry if we want to.. I dont think going back to we will run it down your throut every game is the right choice.. I feel balance is key in todays game, maybe run the ball about 70% of the time one game but then have us turn it around an throw it maybe 74% of the time the next game.. Just dont want to see us getting into trouble when we fall behind in some games an then have to throw it the whole time like we did this season... Whatever offense we get should be a good one but thats just my opinion of what I would like to see...

IMO I dont see TO telling BO who to hire and who not too, that will end up a mistake in the long run if that happened.. As much as I love the old husker coachs coming back I also wouldnt mind if BO brought some guys from LSU here or maybe some other top coachs here like some from OU or what have you. I just see BO as getting the coaches he wants an can win with not playing to with TO wants.. Brown I am ok with cause I really like the guy and I think he is really good coach, but cotton I am not so sure of the man got canned an make some remarks about Neb as did BO I know but Cotton hasent done much since he left here an he wasent that good when he was here.. I just see it as its BOs team let him do what he needs to do to run it!!

I like Watson he has that fire and passion like BO does.. When Watson was moved to the side lines I saw a change in the offense, at Texas he was high fivein guys slapping them on the backs getting them fired up and not just the offense but the defense too.. I think you give him a chance to show what he's got to offer and maybe he will have some ideas of what will work along the scale of a spread offense and not so much the WCO.. Maybe Billy boy didnt want to hear any new ideas about the offense.. Who knows we will just have to wait and see...

You can absolutely take to the bank the fact that IBR's information is 60% gospel! Bank it! Can't wait to see if IBR redeems himself or throws himself further into the Rumorville abyss! It's sure to be a good read either way! One thing is for sure, if his prediction comes through it will be amazing to see how big his ego gets. It's only at 60% full of himself right now! I saw that too and I am glad others picked up on this also.. Miles didnt get the gatorate shower only BO.. There you have it Husker Nation Bo is the new coach!! I hope we can all come together an support BO in turning this program around.. I am very excited an cant wait till next year...

Well, this actually happens all the time, especially with minorities. Someone gets interviewed because there is a person or a body of persons overseeing the interview process, whether that's the BCA, the fans, the boosters - whoever, so the interview is conducted with Candidate X just to make things look good, not because they have any real intentions of hiring them. I think thats crap. I guess just cant see doing it twice to the same guy.. Others I can understand if its like the NFL..

WTF?? By the way, since when did athletic directors hire offensive and defensive coordinators for the new head coach? That seems a bit amiss . . . Why couldnt he?? TO has said all along he wants to leave the program in good hands for the future. Gill may not be ready to be the HC, but he also wants to help his friend out its a pay raise for Gill an leaves Gill to be taken under TOs wing again.. I can see TO doing this for his friend as long as its what Gill wants..

If this is true I would be very upset if BO was just interviewed to make fans and boosters happy.. Why interview someone if you dont have any intentions on them being hired?? Thats what pud did with BO the first time around and I felt that was crap then.. Now if the rumors are correct an BO didnt knock TOs socks off and TO just didnt feel he was the man then that would make me feel better about him not being the man.. I still like BO an think he is the man for us, but maybe I am just blinded by what I saw him do the one year he was here. Kelly would make a good coach for us and I like the fact that Gill comes back, makes me feel more comfortable about the future knowing if things didnt work out Gill would be there to step in....

. Its not personal with TO its business and I feel both TO and Gill know if he doesnt get the job it shouldnt affect there relationship.. TO is a smart man he will make the best choice..

Exactly, thats why I wish we weren't considering EITHER OF THEM! They have their perks but they aren't Nebraska HC material quite yet. Ok question what makes you think if someone besides Bo or Gill is hired they would embrace the Nebraska tradtions?? I understand there is more to the next coach then embraceing our tradtions, but it was a pretty big down flaw with BC... Fair enough, but I think that any coach that embraces tough defense, a tough practice/conditioning regimen, and tough run-blocking will, by virtue of those traits, embrace the biggest Husker tradition of all: WINNING. True winning makes all the other little things go away.. I am a big BO supporter but also would love to see Gill SOMEDAY be our coach, so I am just worried that as some of you have said above that he needs more time in Buffalo that he will become hot on everyones list down the road and when we want him he will say to bad so sad you had your chance.. I hope this doesnt happen but a man can only get passed over so many times before the says screw it...

TO doesnt see in black an white.. He will pick the best coach for the job no matter what color there skin is, its pretty dumb for those people out there that think just cause he is black will be the reason he isnt hired.. I feel Gill is and will be a great coach but dont feel right now is the time to give him the job, maybe in few years if things dont work out with BO... No matter what TO will pick the guy he wants and we will support him....
