I must be the only one who finds it sad that they are doing this.

I fail to see how it's sad. We have a playoff now. There was only 1 undefeated team in the entire country. They beat a team that beat both teams in the championship game. If ever there was a team that should do this, it's this one.

Back before the the playoff and even before the BCS, it didn't make sense. Because we didn't have anything set up to solve this problem. Now we do and it still didn't solve the problem.

If we did still had the BCS they wouldnt of made it either.  Going undefeated is not the only qualification.
