  1. Lincoln is doing a better job of keeping college grads around. Case in point will be when Innovation Campus gets completed. I will say that I have always been in awe about the number of opportunites in Ames. A town of their size at 50,000, has a lot of good paying jobs in the ag sector.
  2. Wish the kid all the best.....I have always thought that if a kid doesn't want to be in a certain place he is just toxic to the program and should have the option to leave.
  3. If the weather is nice, I anticipate attendence rocketing up the last few days leading up to the game.....if there is rain in the forecast---good luck.
  4. Gald to see that attendence at Haymarket looks to be strong again!
  5. watching the Wiscy-Cuse game..... it never ceases to amaze me----you have kids who have played 100+ games/year growing up between school/summer/fall ball, yet when the game is on the line, with ample time on the clock, the best shot they can get off is a fade-away 3 pointer between two defenders as time expires. I watch it happen time and time again!
  6. its been a while since i remember a run-rule game in Lincoln for the good guys.......nice!!!!!

  8. I drove through Pierre for work on Tuesday, and saw a TON of boats out on river right below the dam. Most have been 60-80 boats in a part of the river the size of a football field. Suggestion: go and try the new resturant in town: Redrossa
