OH sh#t, now Bo wants to go to UNR? There's an ad for Travel Nevada, and........ yeah. In all honesty, I would love to see Solich retire as a Husker, maybe not as OC though. maybe a new postition could be made up, like ball technique coach, or anti-fumbeling cordinator. He's qualified and here is the proof: Ok so I'm joking about the new postiions but he sure could help our backs with their fumbeling problem.

Add this to a long line of articles that make Beebe come off like a d-bag. He only had one quote and he managed to d-bag up the whole article. That being said some type of playoff needs to be formed. It would raise more money for the schoools, the conferences, anyone else involved and best of all it would crown a true champion every year. I'm getting really tired of seeing an undefeated team at the end of each season that had no chance to play for a national title.

The funny thing is last year everyone wanted him fired for not taking chances, like the one you mentioned. Now we should fire hum for not laying down and setteling for a fg on third and eight. While we're at it why dont we just kick a field goal on first down as soon as we are in rang. I mean this team has consistantly shown that it fumbles a lot. We wouldnt want to risk that.

You don't NEED a spitter, I've chewed for years and to be more descret about it I swallow the juices. It is what us in the chew biz call "gutting it" I also don't think Bo chews but wouldn't be surpirsed if he did. Yea I dip my self. But out of all the ppl I know who chew (which is alot, I'm in the army) only one I met gutted it. Because he was teaching a class. He looked like he was gunna lose his lunch everytime. The thing I'm wondering. Is there a NCAA policy banning visible tobacco use. I'm assuming there is. Anyone want to shed light on it. Yes this is a Random thread. Atlest its not a rumor thread Can't answer your question about visable tabbacco use, but it is pretty easy to chew without it being visable if you can gut it easily.

I agree with that. Numbers are often inflated. So, let's compare the Big 12 numbers, this year and last year. I think it has really been an improvement in leaps and bounds. This is an interesting question, but if you are taking only offensive numbers against high-ranked defenses for Nebraska, you have to put that up against only offensive numbers against high-ranked defenses for every other team. Hard for me to say exactly where in the rankings we'll fall there. I suspect more teams than not have had pretty low outputs against the higher-ranked defenses. I may be willing to take this on today as I'm very board and there is no football on today.

I dont have the game to go rewatch, but from what I remember the last zone read of the first half went for 22 yards. Then to start the 2nd the first two plays were zone reads. The next series we ran a trap, a zone read, and an imcoplete pass. Then Rex very successfully ran the zone read after that. Our Offensive scheme is based on the read option so yes you will see a lot of it. One of my biggest issues is Wats can't win, no matter what he does its his fault.

Funny you bring that up. This is very unconfirmed, but friend I want high school with attended kansas state. he met a transfer student from kansas this kid was the former equiptment manger for kansas. the reason he gave for quicken was that mangino would leave said towels laying on the floor and apparently this guy didn't like picking them up.

Now when you say he goes into a shell, do you mean running routes and formations that Texas had never seen, do you mean the fake punt against okie stat (although that may be Bo's call), or is this shell include the play action on 4th and1 in the big 12 championship with a qb that gad been cold all game, maybe you're reffering to the pass from Burkhead to Martinez (which was wide open) So I guess the USC guys are right with going into a shell. When you look at all the chances he took to win those games I see exactly the shell that they were talking about. The only way anyone can justify replacing wats is to completly ignore all the circumstances that caused the poor performance. of course there's no shortage of husker fans willing to do that.

I don't know if I would go as far as to say that. First off that many pages of classified doccuments being leaked is never a small story, however the bigger story is the over 5,000 hackers claiming to keep hacking in protest of the founder being arrested. Major credit card companies already have been hacked into and I fear there may be more to come. This could potentionally be a big deal and if this guy ever faces trial in the United States and is found guilty it can set a pretty dangerous precedent of freedom of press.
