Oh well, thats life on the road in the Big 12. I was watching Texas A&M and Baylor last night, and those two teams will almost impossible to beat for the Huskers. They are very big and physical.

Why waste a scholly on a FB???? There didn't seem to be a place on Watson's offense for one. I bet this kid plays linebacker. Big, strong and fast is what we want at that position.

if tebow even was close to playing for the huskers, my card gets torn up, i can't stand that jerk off i wish someone would have rolled his ankle or taken his eye as a gift to everyone who hates florida. Why not just tell us how you really feel about Tebow? I am sensing a little animosity here... I can understand not likeing Florida, but how do you not like a guy like Tebow. Does it offend you that he talks about Jesus? Somehow I bet your feelings would be different if he played for the Huskers.

They have several Florida recruits, so he proably felt comfertable there with kids he knows.

Same here, plus he went to my HS (although MAAAANY years difference) Right on, go Spartans. I also coached his little sister in swimming years ago. He swam a little in the summer himself, really nice kid. I vote for Witt, because he has alot better wheels than I thought, and he is very smart.

Thats okay, your QBs will be running for their lives from a guy named Jason Ankrah in the very near future. Okay guys, no more bumping this thread. This guy was crazy for not wanting to play for what will be the best defense in the country very soon.

I bet Bo told him that before he developed at QB like he has. I say give him a shot at QB, because this kid is a big time competitor and a winner.

Yeah, a ton of experince, but some of those schools he was only there for a year or two. Also, in all those years of coaching, he has never coached in any major bowl games. The fat man sure does lose alot of coaches. This guy is replacing a guy who just took a job for their hated rival, K-State..ouch.

Great win for the Huskers. It's ugly basketball, but I love the intensity. Keep up the good work Doc, and get us to the Big Dance please. I will keep posting here to show my support, and I hope the Husker Nation will get behind this program. I would love to see us get to the level of the 90-91 team, which is the best team ever for the Huskers.

Dude, Bo would give his right nut to coach Tim Tebow. Do you really think Bo would put up with Tebow's attitude on the field? "WHO'S THE BEST QUARTERBACK IN THE BIG 12 NOW?" Yes, I think Bo would love his work ethic and leadership. With Coach Bo's self admitted on field blowups, I think he would forgive him quickly. I know Coach Brown would love to coach this kid.

Young didn't like the idea of competition.......these kids that throw in the towel, when we recruit more guys to play the same position.....well, if they don't have any more confidence in their ability than that, they just don't belong here. we have seen this before......no great loss. I completely disagree with that. Young didn't leave Nebraska because of competition. From what I've heard he is a pretty good kid. If you go to the rivals site, you'll see that KU has recruited 3 other defensive ends, besides young, that are all ranked higher than Young. He'll likely redshirt at KU. Regardless, these kids are 18 year olds. They change their mind like the wind! How can you disagree with it, when the kid said it himself that he was not happy about us still recruiting DE ?

More than likely he will be a starter next year as a RS Freshman. I can't to see this kid tear it up. He is a total freak of nature as an athlete. I hope he still runs a 4.8 in the 40 at 300 pounds.

I thought it was a late hit by Miles. Not a really hard hit, but the refs will call that every time. We could not control all the other bad calls, but hitting a player several yards out of bounds was somthing we could control.

One thing I noticed was that the refs made bad call against both teams, not just us getting screwed by FSU's fumble in the endzone. They called a complete pass on our last scoring drive, that was not a complete pass. But more bad calls against us of course. I have never seen Dr Tom so mad on the sidelines with all of our penalties.

Kansas also picked up Erick McGriff( son of Fred McGriff) a 6'4 receiver out of Tampa . Along with 6'5 Omigie, thats two nice looking receivers in one day.

Yep, there was no way our running bakcs were going to run wide on Clemson. They were way to fast. I loved the way Q ran yesterday, he looked alot like Lawrence Phillips to me.

All I trying to get at is that we should speak with authority only if we can justify that we have a a position of authority that is warranted. If you know for a fact that these guys will make the grade then that is great news --- all of us here will be very pleased to know that. Of course, if you do not know that such is the case, and you are like most of us --- just guessing and going off of what the recruiting publications --- then, well, what you say is just like anyone else... at which point, then speaking in terms of qualifiers such as"I think that...," or "it seems to me...." or, according to X, ..." I'm not trying to rile you up. If you do actually KNOW that grades will be a non-issue, then let us know that you KNOW and are not guessing (or hoping). Does this make sense? Why are you calling out BigWillie about his statements, when you yourself stated as fact that this class will be "desimated" by kids who will not make the grade. So the question comes back to you, how do you know this?

x2... Will Henry is who came to mind when I look at this recruit. Although I still have hope that Henry could develope into a good player. I know that this kid will put on some size, but right now he make Micheal Phelps look like a bodybuilder. The kid has to be a twig.
