If you like Beck so much I hope you will enjoy middle school football games next year. I will be in Memorial Stadium watching the Huskers for my 45th straight year and giving Coach Riles and his staff my full support. That can't be said for a lot 'class acts' on this board. For all above. The biggest problem TAJ has had has been Beck and an untested QB coach in Ganz. Beck's game plan of two runs into the middle of the line, long pass, punt basically shows why he'll be calling plays at a middle school in Montana next year. He miss-used both TAJ and AA last night and his stupid play calling cost the Huskers the game last night. He can't pack his bags and get out of Lincoln soon enough. T_O_B

He did some really good things but... he couldn't qualify to carry Rodgers' gym bag. There were dropped passes, passes I thought he could have got to, but tonight and the Pelini on his right forearm was just a bit too much for me. So long KB, we've got DPE and JW now. T_O_B

Watched a couple Husker high light vids today and was struck by the fact that our lines in the 9ies didn't have their guts hanging over their pants. Wistrom and Peter actually had visible 6 packs under their jerseys. Bring this back, please, Mark Philipp. T_O_B

I agree. This is probably the best we've seen out of Barney since '03 or his playing days, and I wish we could find a way for him to stay on at DoNU and put his love for his alma matter to good/better use. Your knowledge of college football seems to be limited to your rather uninformed opinion. Being a 9-3 coach these days doesn't mean as much as it once did and TO averaged 10+ over 25 seasons. As for this 'snowflake' you can... well, think of a way to get back into your can before I mix you up with some mayo and hard boiled eggs and feed you to a couple derelicts on skid row. T_O_B

Unexpected end to the season. The team went out and played hard and made us proud. What was expected, inept play calling by Beck, his calls left probably 10 points on the field. Kenny Bell making at least one bone-head play. Pelini trying time and time again to snap the ball over TAJ's head. Another new start next year. A coach who won't embarrass the program with side line blow ups at refs and players alike. How long to the Spring Game? T_O_B

It was again obvious tonight that Beck's basic game plan is AA twice between the tackles, long pass, punt. The guy couldn't call a good game if it came up and bit him on the a$$. Give him a bus ticket home he doesn't deserve to ride on the plane with this team. Hope he has good luck with what ever middle school that takes a chance on him. T_O_B

TBH the Omaha Zoo tops San Diego in my book. The Omaha Zoo is good, I won't debate that, but the San Diego Zoo is world class. If you are there don's miss it. Would be like going to New York City and not seeing the Statue of Liberty. T_O_B

X wives can be so selfish. Mine has kept my kids away from me on every holiday for over 30 years. My second wife and I will be retiring to live in Florida next year the kids can then decide if they want to spend holidays on a sandy beach with temps in the 70ies or in gray day, freezing South F N Dakota. Want to read/see part three. I have for years thought that that our high school councilors place too much emphasis on going to college. We have far too many kids who don't belong in college but do belong in Tech School. Who cares about English Lit or Art History when your skills are best suited to auto mechanics, heating and air conditioning, cooking or hundreds of other trades that can give people a great living?
