  1. Ha! I was going to post the same thing. This was the only game that I looked forward to buying every year! Oh well, there’s always dynasty mode. (Florida A&M is a powerhouse in the year 2022) I think Tanner Lee has the talent to make an NFL roster. It’ll be interesting. I’m sure some of his decision will be based upon who gets hired to coach here— but that would be his third coach in 3-4 years.
  2. Nebraska’s rushing offense ranks 113th in the nation. I don’t know what the hell “Cav” is doing. Our leading rusher has 499 yards this season! The offensive line has been the biggest disappointment of the entire deal with Riley.
  3. Sharp and Benning - awesome show. They work very well together and have great insight. Damon has a good vocabulary and gets a little wordy, but mostly great stuff. Unsportmanlike — can get painful. Bishop whines too much and Josh comes off as such a noob who never has an original take. But maybe that’s because I hate snowflake millennials. Nick Bahe - he’s funny. Better when he had Schick, but still good stuff.
  4. You’re 100% correct. I haven’t left early or shut a game off all season. I’ll be at the Iowa game too. Never give up on the Huskers!
  5. I’m a real fan and I don’t want to see Perlman naked.
  6. Hard to predict. The head coach brings in guys within his network. If Frost is the man — I’m sure he’d bring some of these guys: http://www.ucfknights.com/coaches.aspx?path=football It’s interesting to read the bios and see the network to Frost.
  7. We’ll never forget that Hail Mary thrown by Ron Kelloggs
  8. 2017 for sure — special teams, defense and offense are all poor. No stand out players. (Aside from Spielman as of late) The other teams listed had some strengths. The 2017 team doesn’t. There isn’t one facet of this team that makes opponents pause and say “whoa .. we need to be prepared for this..”
  9. Translation : You’re trying as hard as possible to make every out come appear as if it’s been predicted.
  10. Yo momma so fat, the back of her neck look like a pack of hotdogs ! Yo momma so fat, I could roll over twice and still be on top! Yo momma so blind, she can’t see the strain!
  11. I think that’s a characteristic of Diaco’s defense, but Banker’s was supposedly a more attacking style. Neither one was dominant even though I think we have reasonable talent on the d-line.
  12. Yes. “Players unanimously want Scott Frost.” — whatever. Most of the players probably don’t even know who he is! Also, the players have not been told that Riley is done at the end of the year. So Moos states publicly that he doesn’t fire coaches in season, yet somehow wants the team to be informed that Riley is done? That’s total b.s. Blackshirt Alert Show = fake news . All of our “soothsayers” — hey let’s throw a hundred things out there and see what sticks !
  13. How good is Parrella? Good recruiter- yes. But who is impressed with the line play this year or in 2016? i get it— part of it is the scheme. But even under Banker’s scheme, consider these important d-line stats from 2016: sacks- 6 rushing yards given/game- 170 rushing td’s given up- 22 I won’t bother to look up the 2017 stats, but it is obvious that the d-line hasn’t dealt any fits to an opposing offense. Could be scheme also, but I see d- linemen who are slow and can’t shake a block. I appreciate Parrella’s NFL and Blackshirt background, but I haven’t been impressed by his coaching.
  14. If 90% of the fans were duped, then so was the press and Riley’s coaching peers. The narrative when he was hired was how Riley always did more with less and the majority opinion was that if he was put in a place that had all of the tools to win, then he would . There was hardly a negative word to be said about him from anyone. We’ve seen the result, and yeah.. many were fooled.
  15. I think that Frost will remain at UCF. In most of his recent interviews— including his latest press conference when he makes comments about being a new father, he consistently references how they’re building something special at UCF and talks about the unique cohesion with all of the assistants and even amongst the team. He is making the type of comments that would force anyone to question his integrity if he were to leave. I get get it —many coaches say, “I’m 100% committed to “State U.” And then leave for a new position the next day. I just don’t think that fits Scott’s character and therefore he stays.
  16. I disagree. Choosing Solich as head coach and pressuring to keep the same assistants? Worked fine until that 7-7 season. But they rebounded. Don’t want to open a can of worms, but I do feel that Solich would have succeeded here. Hiring Bo Pelini — not a mistake. Osborne hired the guy that everybody wanted at the time.
  17. I just watched the game again, specifically looking for "the strain". Yes, if you look directly at the strain, it all begins to make sense.
