  1. He was a guy who decommitted from us when Bo was fired. As for why any of us should care about what he's doing today, well...
  2. @C-4 More like their administration is taking their time to gather a case to cover their own asses. I mean, if Urban really did report it to them and they didn't take action, then they're just as guilty as he is!
  3. Ohio State had to can Tressel for covering a few players taking improper benefits. But apparently some think Meyer can keep his job after covering for a guy on his staff beating his wife, and then lying about knowing about it (which he just admitted to)? I mean, step back for a second. Getting a few tattoos, versus years of domestic violence. I don't know about the rest of you, but I know which one I would consider the greater crime. What's really f#&%ed up is that Ohio State might have only fired Sweater Vest because they knew NCAA sanctions against him were coming (at one point the university president publicly said they weren't going to fire him), but Meyer could conceivably hold onto his job simply because this matter probably won't result in any sanctions from the NCAA.

    Mikale Wilbon

Do you have any justification whatsoever for that statement? Wilbon also averaged an extra 1.7 YPC over Ozigbo in 2016.

ITT: People using the wisdom of Mike Riley, that grand visionary of running games, and how many snaps he gave each back to justify their opinion of the backs.
  6. I wonder if the poll was taken before or after Urban was placed on administrative leave...
  7. @Moiraine Time to get started on South Stadium? Maybe make it not look like it's held up with Tinker Toys while they're at it?

    No. Nothing remotely like Burkhead.
  9. @cheekygeek Looks like the prices in that article are a little outdated...
  10. Time to look into online streaming? Last I checked, YouTube TV and Hulu Live were the cheapest options that give you ESPN, Fox Sports, and BTN, for $40/month. https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/ https://www.hulu.com/live-tv
  11. Never heard of that site, either. Looks to be just a two-man operation, one guy doing articles and the other doing a podcast. Domain was registered about a year and a half ago.

@Vince R. What killed Wilbon was that Riley & co had him overthinking everything. He lost his natural instincts as a runner that he had coming out of high school. And he didn't get many chances to run because Riley cared less about running the ball than he did about pass protection (which Bryant did fairly well, hence why Riley favored him so much). "Sometimes I just think too much and just try to do too much," he said. "Some games, I’d get one play and they’d take me right back out. I was like, ‘I’ve got to get a rhythm.’ That’s what they had me doing, and really, since my snaps were so limited, I really pressured myself. I was harder on myself because I was trying to be perfect every time I’m in, because I don’t know how many times I’m going to be in." https://247sports.com/Bolt/Mikale-Wilbon-is-making-a-push-for-playing-time-behind-new-attitude--51946460/
  13. Man, Rutgers has had nine offensive coordinators in nine years? And we thought it's crazy how we go through DB coaches...
  14. @Husker John That's from somebody's Deviant Art account from like five years ago. https://www.deviantart.com/thegreatktulu/gallery/30209404/Football-Uniform-Concepts
  15. Yeah, hiring Frost was an incredibly obvious choice. Moos really couldn't have walked into a better situation in that respect. Credit Moos for actually landing Frost, though - from the sound of things, that was definitely not a given. What I thought was interesting was when Moos was talking about the different approaches required in getting Mike Leach vs Scott Frost. Of course, having a cheat sheet in Osborne and Matt Davison didn't hurt.
  16. ^ I think Osborne probably still has Frost beat in that department.
  17. Gussets, man, we need more gussets!
  18. "Some of the pieces that were in place particularly on offense I think fit us pretty well. You look at the receiver group and Stanley Morgan and JD [Spielman] and Tyjon Lindsey, those are the type of guys we would recruit," Frost said. Reading the tea leaves a bit, I kinda wonder if that might favor Gebbia as the starter. Like Martinez might be the better athlete, but if Gebbia is a better passer, he might be able to get more out of the offense as a whole.
  19. Callahan might have been like getting underwear for Christmas, but Riley was like waking up on Christmas morning and finding that Santa took a dump in your stocking.
