  1. You never know how good something is until it's gone.

Yeah but once it's gone you forget how good it was.....

  2. Colorado, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio State could be 4 losses right there...with Michigan State or Iowa another possible loss...This has to be the hardest schedule we've had in years.
  3. Tim Brando and Spencer Tillman! I hope we get that combo more than the others. Brando is not just a great announcer but, IMO, his college football knowledge is second to none.
  4. Nobody outside of the Iowa/Nebraska fanbases cares about this game unless it has title implications. It's not like this game will be attracting a huge audience. That being said, it's a big blow when one of our games gets moved from OTA to digital cable because it significantly reduces potential viewers who can't afford it.
  5. When my dick is hanging out of my pants, I'm not in the mood for conversation. end of story
  6. I never understood a parent's fascination with grandchildren. If they want more children, tell them to have more of their own; see how receptive they are to that. A person should never have a child simply because they are being pressured by their parents. Whenever my mother asks about grandchildren, I always bring up the fact that people are living longer now than they ever were before...and she still has time to have more of her own. She doesn't find that funny.
  7. How is this surprising? The earliest I can remember watching a Husker game was during the 94' season when I was 9 years old. In fact, I can't remember much of anything before 4th-5th grade. My parents will bring things up, but I generally have no recollection. The SEC has dominated for the past decade. No recruit can remember when Nebraska was dominating. They would have been 1 or 2 when we made the national championship game in 2001.
  8. I checked out Project Fi. 20 dollars a month for unlimited texts and minutes...with 4G coverage...wowza! I will definitely be giving this a try.
  9. I would sell drugs, if I had the connections. Anyways, I take it no one knows anyone that has one? As long as the reception is good and my calls don't drop, I would ditch Sprint in a heartbeat. I just want to hear someone's advice who has tried one recently.
  10. People shouldn't sleep on Oregon. I think they will be leaps and bounds better under Taggert than they were with Helfrich. I expect that to be a close, hard-fought game.
  11. So I'm paying a crazy (IMO) amount for my monthly smart phone from Sprint. However, I don't really use the Internet anymore. Not only that, my unused minutes/texts don't roll over to the next month. If I don't use them, I lose them. I keep seeing advertisements on HSN for TracFones. They always say you pay as you go and your unused minutes and texts roll over to the next month. Plus, there is no contract; you just have to pay for the phone. I was wondering if anyone here has a TracFone or has experience with one. How is the coverage? Do your calls come in clear? Where did you buy yours from? etc...
  12. It looks like Nebraska's only shot at having a player in the NFL draft is either Gerry or Carter. It's strange to see that through 3 rounds not one Nebraska player was selected; my how things have changed.

  13. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/11/business/dealbook/toshiba-foxconn-chips-deal.html?smid=fb-share&_r=0 It looks like Toshiba is going to sell its crown, microchips, in order to stay afloat. But it doesn't look good.
  14. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-04-11/toshiba-reports-earnings-without-auditor-s-approval-after-delays "Toshiba Corp., the 142-year-old conglomerate, warned on Tuesday it may not be able to continue as a going concern as it grapples with billions of dollars in losses from its Westinghouse Electric nuclear business. The disclosure came as the Japanese company reported earnings for the third quarter after missing two previous deadlines for financial results. Toshiba posted an operating loss of 576.3 billion yen ($5.2 billion) for the nine months ended Dec. 31 and said it had negative shareholders equity of 225.6 billion yen, but, significantly, it wasn’t able to get auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers Aarata to approve those figures."
  15. It's hard to find a song that sounds better live than the original studio recording, but that's exactly what the Scorpions did with "Coast To Coast".
  16. From yesterday: "Our historical operating results indicate substantial doubt exists related to the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern...we cannot predict, with certainty, the outcome of our actions to generate liquidity, including the availability of additional debt financing, or whether such actions would generate the expected liquidity as currently planned." It sounds like Sears is all but admitting they are finished. http://blogs.barrons.com/stockstowatchtoday/2017/03/22/sears-tells-us-what-many-already-knew-here-are-winners-and-losers/
  17. I could never root for the Patriots. But I will watch more of their nationally televised games now that they have a few former Huskers.
  18. It seems like every month a new transgression comes to light. Rape, sexting, inappropriate conduct...It doesn't matter who they fire and who they hire, this s%$! seems to keep happening. If the NCAA had any balls at all, they would shut this program down for a few years and make Baylor clean house, from the top all the way to the bottom.
  19. Where is all of this coming from? Are you having a bad day? You can't compare Miles' situation to Riley's. Riley just got here.
  20. How Baylor continues to have a football program is mind-boggling.

Kick them out of the Big XII. It's as good as the death penalty.

      HANC

Ha. Leaving them in the Big 12 is a Death Penalty.

Seriously, if there not cutting PennSt football program for molesting kids there not gonna do it for raping girls.

  21. What is the NCAA waiting for? Haven't we seen enough? If there is any program that deserves the death penalty, it's this one.
