    Most baseball players don't improve themselves by coming back for their senior year. It just doesn't happen. It's nothing like the NFL draft. Most of the guys being drafted by the MLB draft are college juniors and high school seniors. Meyers wasn't going to make himself into a higher round draft choice, so he wasn't going to make a lot more $ by coming back. Seniors also lose a bargaining chip. They can't dangle going back to or going to college as a way to get a bigger bonus that the juniors or High School Seniors can.

    I just want to highlight what I feel is a high quality post. I think too often good posts get overlooked and talked around instead of thoughtful conversation. Quality Post and I probably wouldn't have read it if it wasn't for Huskerzoo quoting it.

    Can you park at Haymarket for the spring game? I was looking at the website but it doesn't say.

      That's ok I can call I looked on the website and it doesn't say anything. I want to park there as I am going to the baseball game that evening and figured we could tailgate between games.

    I am pretty sure Swanda the pitcher from Roosevelt(husker commit) is the number one player in Iowa.

    I watched it as well. Good stuff! Next up is "The Fall." Seems pretty comparable to the Killing. My wife watched that over the past week. She's been buzzing about it. I'll have to check it out myself.Which show?The Fall The first two seasons of the Fall are amazing the third lacks a little. But definitely recommend!

    I ordered Spring game and Baseball tickets at the same time. I opted for the print at home option. I have the baseball tickets and have yet to receive the Spring game tickets. Have any of you received yours yet?

      Ok I just thought it was weird I ordered tickets to two sporting events for the same day and only got the baseball tickets

    This was discussed in the Season Notes thread. Several guys are coming off injuries (including McSteen), so Ben Miller will be starting and throwing all of about 50 pitches that game. thanks guess i should have checked that thread out.
