Well, next year Lucky is gone, so if they moved him to linebacker, the next running back behind Helu would more than likely be Mendoza, who has taken very limited snaps this year. If he starts stinking it up next year, then you may need to move him, but as for right now i think that would be a dumb move.

I was really impressed with the running game vs. Iowa State. Anyone have any other comments?

I was praying that we go for two. The T Tech offense is just too good to keep them from scoring on a 25 yard field. Also we had a crapload of momentum. I thought for sue that we would go for it.

Anyting is possible. Look at CU beating OU last year. No one expected that. If we establish the running game early, knock the living crap out of Chase Daniel, and often and keep the Mizzou Offense off the feild we have a pretty good shot. My prediction is that Lucky breaks the slump and rushes for 150+ yards.GBR

Give Lucky more carries and he will produce. 8 carries is not what you give to your starting running back. Everyone is complaining about Lucky and the running game, but we are not focusing on running the ball. I know we don't have the atheletes on the O-line, bt that still doesn't mean we should give our starting running back 8 carries. Give Lucky around 20 and Helu abot 10. Then you will start to see some running game.

I was really looking forward to seeing this kid play for the huskers on Saturday. Hopefully the VTECH game didn't scare him off too bad.

Our running game isn't in that bad a shape. We just really aren't trying to run the ball that much, we are reying on Ganz's passing game for most of our offense.

Well, he takes his visit this week, lets see how things go.

NFL Network reported that Virginia Tech QB Tyrod Taylor's redshirt has been pulled after just one game and that he will rejoin the team

The Jets are my favorite NFL team and i couldn't be happier

Hopefully Glennon plays well enough they dont take the redshirt off Taylor midway through the season

This is just all speculation. It is almost impossible to know what certain postioins are going to be like. Yeah you can speculate, but that really doesn't do anything. Look at Ku last year im sure they had crappy rating in stuff like this but went out and proved them wrong. That is what NU needs to do this year

I think it all kind of depends on what we do this year. If we go 6-6 or around that area, we wont get much respect next year. If we go 8-4 we proably can get into the top 25
