The Pac 12 does.
-
Nebraska should tell the B1G that they will announce 62 positive Covid cases unless both players are allowed to play next week.
-
They can appeal. Winning the appeal is the real issue.

Wasn't it fourth down? He should have kicked the field goal.

Would you like to see Texas & OU in the B1G West?

I'd rather see Texas get reannexed by Mexico. -
So this defense looks better than at any time over last season's defense? Did I dream that quote from Orgeron?

Yep, HUGE Red Sox lover as well. As a Yankees fan, he's not a favorite lol

Oh, I missed this post. I live in Roseburg.

Campus Parking Patrol is a plague on our house
southernoregonhusker replied to knapplc's topic in Husker Football
That was well before Uncle Mike. Jerry Pettibone was our coach and he was an assistant at UNL from '79-'81. He played at OU and coached there, too. I played golf with him years after he retired and we talked about the old Big 8 days, Nebraska and OU games, etc. Total blast talking with him. He was a member at my club and we played together often. -
Campus Parking Patrol is a plague on our house
southernoregonhusker replied to knapplc's topic in Husker Football
While moving into the dorms at Oregon State, many freshmen like myself parked on the street right next to the building. We found out later that this area was typically a no parking zone, but there weren't any signs and we were all new to campus. While parked and moving our stuff in, a couple of maintenance guys were putting up no parking signs. Right behind them was a member of campus security writing parking tickets. A number of students, including myself, got tickets. A bunch of us got together and went down to the administration building and complained about what had happened. Admin. dropped the tickets, but I still remember thinking that was a pretty crappy thing for campus security to do. -
Big 10 laughing stock of college football
southernoregonhusker replied to Omaha fan's topic in Husker Football
Is that real or just rumors? Many have been talking about a 9-5 vote that was really 11-3. A lot of opinions have been formed with bogus rumors/statements. My guess is the B1G never intended to play. Our league has states that were hard hit by Covid-19. But as you already stated, we shall see. In the meantime, Georgia's prejected starting QB just announced he's not playing. Clemson's best receiver already announced he's not playing. -
Big 10 laughing stock of college football

Who is going to be the laughing stock when those other leagues are forced to cancel their seasons after three games? I'd rather be the coach who goes into the livingrooms of parents and is able to tell them that those other teams only care about money and little Johnny is nothing more than a means to that end. -
Will There Be a 2020 Football Season?

I-formation with 2 tight ends....Of course, OU isn't running anything similar these days. -

They could start by making a deal with DirecTV. -
Kevin Warren shows us why he's being dragged

Because his job is also to be the public face and whipping boy when needed. Roger Goodell is a perfect example. He is an employee of the owners, and he also makes 40 million in compensation. -
$ Impact to Big 10 to Cancel All Fall Sports
southernoregonhusker replied to IlliniHusker's topic in Husker Football
I think that would cause quite the stink around here knowing some of that money would be going to coaches making millions. -

I read "long term loan." I doubt they'd get a bond from the public. -

The Pac 12 cancelled all fall sports and I've read that Oregon State is considering a loan. I wouldn't be surprised to hear the whole conference doing the same. -

Oh, you and I agree but saying it's about player safety sounds and not money sounds a lot better. -

Oregon announced the same yesterday. I wonder if it's possible to play baseball and football at the same time or if kids will have to choose? -
Will There Be a 2020 Football Season?
southernoregonhusker replied to BIG ERN's topic in Husker Football
It's partially true. They're not doing it to save money, they're doing it because testing capacity is still lacking. I watched a doctor explain it this way. You take 12 people who need testing and give them all just one test. If it comes back negative, then you've just saved 11 test kits. If it comes back positive, then you'd give everybody a test which would have happened anyway currently. It does save on testing, especially in places that haven't been hit hard by Covid. -

Kansas Flu, baby. Rutgers is reporting 26 players testing positive. For you guys with past Huskers seasons on DVD, fire 'em up. That's going to be the only games you see this season. -

I thought it was well established that it originated in Kansas and that Spain got the name because they had a free press who reported the virus while other countries were hush hush because of WWI. As for the Cardinals, I caught the tail-end of a rant from Brandon Tierney of CBS Sports Radio stating some Cardinals went to a casino prior to their series against the Brewers. Again, I caught the tail-end so I may have missed something. -

Things may have changed, but it used to be that tuition for online courses was much more than standard tuition. Is that not the case anymore?
