8?? Im sorry but that is delusional. 125- 100% Michigan and bonus points 133- Michigan Favored 141 Slight lean to Michigan 149- I will take Lovett against most guys. N 157- Toss up but I will give Robb a W. N 165- 100% loss 174- Toss up 184- Michigan is favored 197- Ill give it to Schultz but its not a guarantee HWT- 100% loss. I havent missed a dual on Cliff Keen. I am a little disappointed in our seniors. Red Venz Schultz have been here forever as starters but its hard to argue they are better than they were 3 years ago.

This team has zero shot at winning the title. They don't have a 125 lber. Haven't in years. Looks like they finally made the change at 133. Red is Red. He probably will AA. Lovett is the one who has progressed the most. He could make a run but YD at Cornell is incredible. Yes i know they went OT this year. 157 Robb started off great but has lost some recent matches. 165 probably wont qualify. Labriola is an auto AA. Venz is no better than 3 years ago. Schultz should AA. HWT will have to work his butt off to AA. Even with all of that. Iowa Penn State Michigan are all better than Nebraska. On a different note. Go to Big 10's!! I would go to just watch Lovett. Kid is fun and the face of the program for the next couple years. GBR

Mark Gronowski SDSU. Won a ton of awards as a freshman. I believe tore his ACL in the FCS Championship game this past spring so he did not play this fall.

Martinez had the perfect attitude that led to 4 straight losing seasons. Don't get me wrong I love Martinez but Rattler wasnt a front runner for the Heisman for no apparent reason. I imagine he will be a little humble now too after Riley chose a freshman and instead of getting ready for the NFL Draft hes looking for a college to play for.

Do we know do this to be factual? If Rattler was in town you would have thought Huskerboard and Twitter would have exploded. Yes i do want Rattler and Stogner.

I wont mind the hiring. I thought Pickett was great this year. But I will be disappointed if the best QB we can bring in is Purdy. I just don't see the arm (or leg) talent that Nebraska would need/want.

Any word if any our seniors are coming back? Red, Venz, and Schultz coming back would make this team really fun to watch next year. Also I see Burks is transferring from Oklahoma State. Hopefully he is coming home!! Would be a great addition to 125/133.

Not saying we get him by any means.. But Nebraska has to reach out to him right? Seems like the exact QB they would be after.

I quit listening to Nate during the 2017 Class. Darnay Holmes, Demmodore Lenoir, Greg Johnson, Joseph Lewis, Thomas Graham. The list goes on. He thought we were getting every single one of those guys at one point. Even Darnay at the All-American Bowl.. What could have been in the DB room though. We got Blades.

I didnt want Martinez replaced at all. Where the freshman Martinez went none of us will ever know but i don't think this is on Martinez or McCaffery. A lot of this has to be on Frost and Co. Where is the unique play calling? Remember 2 years ago after the Ohio State game? Frost had Ohio State guessing the entire game and our offense was moving at will. There is zero creativity. ZERO. Seems like we have guys doing things they shouldn't be (Warner jet sweeps, Hickman coming motion to lead block) I get the first drive is scripted but can Frost not get out of his own head and just call plays. We need play makers. We are 1-3. Ill take the learning curves of Betts, Fleming, Brown at WR. There are some points in a game where it seriously looks like we have 5 tight ends in the game. Defenses aren't scared of any of those guys and that kills our running game. I also thought Marvin Scott III looked good. Bruiser that can wear down the defense. Did he even get a touch in the 2nd half? Start Martinez. Get McCaffery in the game in certain situations and build an identity on offense. Did anyone watch the Cincinnati-UCF game? Quick throws to speed guys. YAC all over the place. Defense moves up and they go over the top. Its a beautiful thing.

He was also the only reason we made it down that far with his feet. Made a couple really nice runs. Obviously the drive was ruined by an interception. Not a good throw. Allen needs to be better. He is 6'8 and let the safety make the play.

Thought the Huskers looked great overall! Hope this helps with theirs seeds coming up on Wednesday. Thomsen, Robb, and Purinton really helped themselves out! Quite honestly the only one i am a little disappointed in right now is Labriola. Seems like he is just thinking way too much on the mat instead of wrestling. Look at his match against the Michigan State. He scores 17 points but hes constantly looking over at coaches. Dude is so talented. Just wrestle. Venz on Saturday looked like he can win nationals. I truly believe that. Day One of the tourney worries me with him because i believe weight loss has cost him some matches in the 3rd period this year. Predictions 125- Thomsen- Hes a year or two from placing. 125 you have to be good on the mat. That is exactly where he struggles. DNP 133- Lovett- Future stud. Will be hard to All-American this week after taking 7th at Big 10's. Needs to be great on his feet as we already know hes great on top. 8th 141- Red- 2x All American already and should make it 3. Top 2-3 guys are tough. Will be interesting on the seed. Away from Pletcher is a good thing. 4th 149- Purinton has guts. He takes 3rd at Big 10's. Should help with seeding. He wrestles like that again and he will be an All-American. Would be a great story for that kid. 7th 157- Robb- So happy they got him from SDSU. Works hard for the the whole 7 minutes. He can All American. Seeding will be a huge thing here though. 8th 165- White- Tough weight class. White usually beats everyone that is ranked below him and loses a close battle Marinelli or Joseph? Can he change that? I dont know. 4th 174- Labriola- Guy can wrestle with the best of them but seems like he is struggling a little bit. Hopefully he doesnt see the Minnesota guy. So sick of losing to him. 7th 184. Venz - I thought he looked good throughout the tournament. Brooks is dynamic and he pinned Venz. Not worried about it. This is the most open weight class there is. No Big 10 names up top. Venz sitting around 8-10 seed. I like all of it. I prefer he doesnt match up against the UNI guy but if that happens hopefully Venz is ready. I believe its his time. 1st 197- Schultz- Might be our most dependable wrestler. I expect him to be seeded anywhere from 3-6. I hope 3 or 6. so he can stay away from Moore until finals. If he does i think he makes finals. 2nd HWT- Jensen- Hes a senior. Hes good on top. He can cause problems but sometimes that backfires on him. Cant beat the top 4 big 10 guys. Will be interesting. Think he makes it to round of 12 before getting knocked off. Obviously with no seeds out its tough to predict. Once i see the seeds i should be able to make a more educated guess.

Yeah not related. Though Tupak might have been the best RB i have coached against in quite some time. Ended up at Morningside in Sioux City.

Coached against this kid the last couple years. Lucky to win in 3OT this year. Stud athlete and can hit. Gameplan was to go away from him. Completely shut down our slot and screen game. Has a nice frame. Great pickup. Interesting to see what happens with their offensive tackle that is pictured with him. Went down with a knee injury against us. I believe he will be a junior. SF Washington might dominate SD Football for the next 3 years.

So National Championships are in Minneapolis. Is there a way to sit with Nebraska fans and/or parents. They must have some kind of sectioin. Thanks Guys

Huskers look awesome today at the Cliff Keen Invite!! 19-0 after two rounds. One big upset was Lovett (true frosh) beating #3 seed Lamont.

I know I said this awhile back (and maybe in his recruiting profile) he dude is a guard. He shouldn't be playing tackle in the Big 10. I watched live many times and thought the same thing in HS. I think he would be a great guard. Right now he is a below average tackle.

I can tell you that if Nebraska scored in the 3rd to make it 24-0. The rout is on. I was in the section near the students and they were all in agreement that if Nebraska scored they were heading out. Some did at half. What an absolute meltdown. I wasn't in love with the play calling in the 3rd. Our defense let up big plays. Such a failed game with Nebraska's fans taking over Boulder.

Undersized right now compared to what we are looking for at linebacker but he has the frame to be a monster OLB. Missile on the field and a smart football player. Hopefully that pipeline continues from SF Washington to Lincoln.

My plane ticket was $59 into Denver. : ) Like i said i don't mind spending money on tickets. I guess the better question is where are the Nebraska seats. Also Id want to be far away from the student section. HAHA
