Now that leach has been officially fired(saw this coming a mile away because he and the AD don't really care for each other), time to start looking at some of their recruits that may have had some interest in the Huskers.

After the convo board AZ fans on ESPN I hope we beat the crap out of them. According to them we are hicks, but apparently they forget all the lovely white trash trailer towns in Tucson. I've been to Tucson many times, and many times I was out of there just as soon as I could be. Redneck central with a mix of white trash in between, it's a lovely town that any self respecting Nebraskan would rather die than live in. I am laughing at those vaunted pac 10 defenses the AZ fans keep talking about though. Apparently their offense is better than Texas Tech's and their defense is better than ours. I really hope that we just demolish them while I sit and see if those same dickwads decide to show their face during the game. Seems like AZ has forgotton they are more of a basketball school and think they are a football school with 1 or 2 good seasons ever. They aren't even a good basketball school anymore either.

I was wondering the same considering everything I see lately seems to say that the Pac 10 has great defenses. I was just going to say Oregon State's defense was awesome.... Oh wait, I actually watched that game. A good defense does not give up 44 in regulation. Listening to these 'Zona fans, their defense is pretty good and they are almost as good at Texas Tech because they run the same type of offense. They had better hope they are because their defense, if anything like the OSU defense is awful.

This is exactly the first thing that popped into my mind. If you aren't ready to commit, then don't jump into it. I know a lot of kids no longer are raised to know their word is what makes them a man. It's a shame that people constantly go back on their promises now a days, but it's becoming more prevalent throughout the years. Fortunately out of the college football world others wont see this and wont know that both of the Gabbert boys words mean nothing, so that is good for them. I wish it were different and people could still be trusted by their word, that is slowly dying out of our culture. I'm not old by any stretch, but even at 33 I see it, just imagine what my elders see and think of it.

Doesn't seem like a very strong arm, and should probably remove some of the piss poor judgement passes while being tackled. Overall he could be a good pickup because of his speed and ability to see over those big linemen. We have an open spot for QB so he is a possibility.

Sounds like both Hughes and Suh are 2 very good players and quality gentlemen. They both do their job and get off the field, both are proven leaders in my eyes. As for the NFLPA, yes talk about scumbags, and the main reason a family can't afford to go see a game because you know those guys don't make enough money as it is, they'd rather gouge the fans that pay their salary in the long run. I'm hoping one day the prices will be far too high for any of us middle class families to go and they learn the hard way that it's BS.

Just put a copy of McCoy's helmet on the trophy where the ball would be and give Suh the Heisman, the man deserves it because he's a beast. I laughed for a few minutes as I pictured the headlock when McCoy tried to sneak by Suh.

I don't understand it, but at least he didn't go into all the BS detail our friend over at ESPN did about why he made his vote. Though I personally believe either Suh of Gerhart deserve the Heisman, he had his reasons and didn't try and blow smoke up our arse, so i'll be the devil advocate and be ok with it. It's wrong in so many ways, but it's his vote unfortunately, he earned it. Maybe he doesn't want to show his bias like you know all the Texas and other schools former Heisman winners/voters are doing out of pure BS.
