    i don't want to look back on this thread 3 years from now and say 'what happened' the guy is as raw as sushi but sushi tastes f'ing great.... I'm just hoping out new sushi chefs can develop top level fish.. huge role also for the rice cooker guy....

    been staying off the board for a while do to HS WP season starting up but i bet you will be seeing a lot more hawaii offers... OSU had a real strong presence in hawaii recruiting when MR was the coach... OSU was one of the few PAC 12 teams that would regularly schedule home/away games with UH to keep up with recruiting purposes and to make sure that the numerous Hawaii kids on the OSU squad had at least one game family and friends could watch them play.. since MC used to coach at UH I'm sure we will see a few more offers and a possible commits role in... but straight up its gonna be tough and its gonna take a special kid... some part of me thinks it might not even be worth the effort and time should be placed elsewhere... besides Manti most big name kids have stayed close (even with a more national recruiting presence).. this year on rivals all the kids except the number one recruit (Texas tech) are staying West coast....

    a real victory (so far) for MR..... pretty happy so far that the guy and staff has taken (and necessary) flag into into the recruiting battle...

    here's a start. I might have some time to pass tonight and do it. Bruce Read: 29 total years. 12 years at non-power5 6 years NFL 11 years at Power5 school. Mark Banker: 33 total years 16 years at non-power5 15 years at Power5 2 years NFL Trent Bray: 7 total years 6 years at power5 1 year at non-power5 Mike Cavanaugh: 26 total years 10 at power5 14 at non-power5 2 in NFL. The thing I like about these hires is that they both have college and NFL experiences. I think this can help with recruiting and player development. I am getting very excited!! don't know about reggie davis.... but i saw that while at OSU langsdorf landed his fair share of recruits......

    this guys would be such a get this stage in the game..... with the guys from the last class and the kids in 2016 things are looking pretty good.... glad to know that pops feels comfortable that he can still see son play too.... i predict N

      wife is from lima.. i go back with her once (used to be all the time when i lived in NC) a year... since 2001!!!!!! what a dump!

      That is too bad. I live close to Lima but I rarely go unless I need to. I make the trek to Nebraska once a year to see my wife's family.

    so i met kliff kingsbury today checking up on his big recruit at my school. was introduced as a 'huge huker fan' by said player. really chill guy and talked to me for like five minutes about nebraska and what i thought about Bo. Said Riley is a real nice guy

      I am with you irieboy8. I am really trying to be positive, but with every passing day it gets harder to paint whats going on as positive. Cant wait until spring ball to get a glimpse of the product we will see next fall.

    i don't know if some have seen this but he was one of the guys who got a lot of recruits on the OSU staff.....

    so i was cruising in the recruiting section like i do often and i read a couple posts about recruits not being contacted... whats going on... etc... i don't know about NcAA rules and all that but suppose that Riley brings a lot of his old staff in I've got some concerns... mainly are these guys ready for big time recruiting....okay yeah PAC-12 but everyone said oh its OSU.. they most got 2-3 star guys... not a lot of pressure... here its gonna be a lot different... much more intense focus on getting those national guys.. you think these guys would be up for the challenge.. out of there league.... rookies?? i have no idea... i just hope we get some top notch guys who already have big boy recruiting dialed in
