    Had a buddy who lives near Boulder tell me he wouldn’t be surprised at a minimum of 40/60 split Husker/Buffs fan at the game. All his friends have been selling their tickets to Husker fans at 2-3x value. Anyone hearing the same?

    What did you do for your 21st B-day?  Mine sucked...it fell on Easter Sunday AND only one of my roommates at the time was 21...we hit up Sandy's and Iggy's...I forgot my DL so we had to go back home and come back...then I ended up puking in the bushes.

    Ripping up tile floors sucks! 2 and a half hours and I'm barely done on a small bathroom.

     

    The jabronies used a morter bed with metal mesh in 2003. I would have thought cement board would have been a way better option back then.

      Feeling your pain in advance.  I am about to try removing 300 sq ft of linoleum and all the glue, and in no way looking forward to it.  It's either that or pay a sh!t ton for someone else to do it.

    How often do you guys have your credit cards hacked? Seems like I get fraudulent charges on one of my cards a least every other year.

      The worst kind of scum.  Sorry to hear about that.  I have been very fortunate in the grand scheme of things.  Knock on wood.  I have had my Apple ID hacked (3 or 4 times, despite apple telling me it’s not possible - along with apps I never purchased), and my eBay account hacked.   I no longer have my cc stored on any of my online accounts (Amazon, eBay, apple, etc)  and there is some magically limit on my card that unless I pre-authorize, not only will the transaction be declined, but the card locked.  PITA because I always forget, but glad it’s there.

      Yep, @teachercd, rumor is that he pressures them really hard on their visit.  Also probably why they’ve had a bunch of decommits lately,.  I like our approach better, even if it’s too damned quiet on that front this month.

    I did not but I had a buddy get caught with booze in the dorms and had to do the "class" on a Saturday morning and one time I had to let the campus cops walk through our Frat house...

      There’s a whole involved story of me, first week, getting busted by an RA for beer.  I used it to my advantage as I later I wou;d pretend to be smuggling beer in, when it was really Diet Doctor Pepper - and then once they realized I was always “smuggling” that in, I could EASILY smuggle beer back in.

      Lens wipes, IMO, are the worst and is likely the sole reason my scratched lenses are as bad as they are.  (Plus, they’re two prescriptions ago, so perty old). The microfiber is all I will use now.
