    Does the new owner have ANY say on who advertises or is it just random internet marketing???

      The organization Sleeping Giants has run a very successful pressure campaign geared towards getting websites to nuke specific ads on their sites - ones for sites they found objectionable.

       

      So it stands to reason that websites who sell ad space have some kind of mechanism to block specific advertisers. Will they? Highly doubt it.
