    Seeing articles about packed beaches over the 4th.  My question:  why on Earth do people enjoy this?  Pandemic or not...

    This is like trying to manage getting in and out of North Stadium without the enjoyment of attending an actual football game...

      July is hell. Anyone who tells you different is selling something.

       

      Beaches are deserts with saltwater adjacent. Bikinis and banana hammocks are the Devi's slingshots. You go to a beach, a shark will bite your leg off.

      I have done Party Cove before, it was a blast. 

      I like when the pool starts off empty and builds as the day goes on.

      Same in Lincoln for games.  I love how it builds and builds and pretty soon the city is packed.
