  1. I'm not trying to be a jerk here. I'm glad you respect my opinions.... But TO wasn't informed about the Tim Miles hiring???? TO did the Tim Miles hiring! Hope you're not a butcher, HANC....I would really hate to stick my head up a bull's ass before buying a T-bone!!! (Tommy Boy)
  2. He remembers sitting at the Boys'n'Girls club when he was a newborn??? Or, more likely, not even born yet... Even the jokes are getting lame in here.
  3. Our fan base is know for being classy. You are very much lacking in that department right now. He's gone, you got what you wanted. Why make it a bigger deal of it than it already is? Just because he didn't release a final statement and give you that moment to revel in his failures doesn't mean you need too make a special thread about it. Try too be classy. Actually Hoke left with class. Muschamp left with class. Bo left without class.... Husker98 tried to have class, many others have tried to have class. You have no class...(sorry, your post has no class )
  4. Callahan was fired on Nov. 24...at least that is the date of the ESPN article I found
  5. ......better not F*** it up
  6. reading is hard..... Respectable standard is the deal, is that 9win thingee your idea of respectable? I am guessing it is. For the sake of fun, I will clarify... First, let's assume Bo is retained. Whether I want this to happen at this time is irrelevant. Now, he comes back next year and manages to appear in the CCG and puts up a good fight. He then comes back the following year and wins one. All of these are hypotheticals. Hypothetically, if Bo decides next year to start putting teams on the field that are legitimately competing for and winning championships, I hope that you and every other Husker fan would be glad he is still here. However, if he can't field a competitive team I hope a new coach can come here and win some championships. If that is next year, so be it. My point is (I'll put it in bold so you don't miss it this time) It doesn't matter who the coach is, I want to see the Huskers win EVERY DAMN GAME THEY PLAY
  7. What in the world does this mean? Will the freakin madness never stop? reading is hard..... Respectable standard is the deal, is that 9win thingee your idea of respectable? I am guessing it is. You're wrong a lot....
  8. What in the world does this mean? Will the freakin madness never stop? reading is hard.....
  9. As long as Bo is our coach I want him and the team to win every game. If Bo is still the coach next year, I will root for the team to WIN...EVERY....DAMN....GAME. I hope Bo is still the coach in 20 years assuming SE sets a solid, respectable standard. This would mean that he figured it out and is getting it done. I also hope the same for any other coach we may eventually have. That's what fans do

Ubran Meyer hasnt lost ONE conference came since coming to OSU... I dont think NU should be a development program for up and coming talent. If we want to win, where is the harm in paying for it? OSU has no shame in it, neither does Alabama. Are we not in the same sentence as those programs? if you say we are not as deserving as the teams paying for HCs who win NCs, then that is the real problem, self perception. I'm not saying we don't go after the Meyers and Sabans of the world. I'm just saying it's not essential that we get an established coach of that caliber. Do you remember where Florida plucked Meyer from? Utah. Saban? A terrible Miami Dolphins team (to whom he went after fielding a mediocre team at MSU). Where did Stanford find Jim Harbaugh? The University of San Diego (a Division II team). If Florida, Alabama, and Stanford had success taking a chance on a head coach, why can't we? I coulda swore he won some kind of trophy or award or something at LSU before he went to Miami... Oh well, back to your story...
  11. This is why some fans have a sour taste of Jason Peter. Fans knew who Bosworth was. Fans knew who Kordell Stewart was. Fans knew who Adrian Peterson was....This isn't anything new. I'm not going to look, but I'm sure it exists somewhere: video of Jason shaking hands and smiling with an opposing player after the game...
  12. Fun fun. MSU 45 Purdue 31 NU 35 Purdue 14 NU 55 FAU 7 Ala"freakin'bama 41 FAU 0
  13. Is it? While I don't have the time to read in depth on the subject everything I've ever read has always said that is pretty hard to definitively pin the weather on climate change. I understand why, since there are hundred if not millions of variables when it comes to the weather, but one of the links in the article seems to imply that deforestation may be the bigger culprit in this instance. Wouldn't this be an effect of man?
  14. How about you take your own damn advice! You're complaining that "Bo can't stop being Bo" and are bringing up an example from the Big12 days.... Goodness Gracious Golly Gee Willickers!!!!!!!
  15. "Don't give your perceived "haters" any recognition by retweeting them or whatever, it just comes across as petty and butthurt, especially after a piss-poor performance. I think that's what B007 meant by lack of communication skills." I say retweet the haters all day. Make them stand by their comments. Just like Kenny would stand next to his if he was standing next to you. Would you tell Kenny you were tired of his bullsh*t if you were standing next to him? Maybe you would, good for you. Most fans would beg for his autograph and then bitch on Twitter that they didn't get it because Kenny was a jerk and thought practice was more important.
  16. This Kenny Bell guy has a thread dedicated to ONE block!!!! This guy will be missed. http://www.huskerboard.com/index.php?/topic/62972-the-block-by-kenny-bell/?hl=%2Bkenny+%2Bbell+%2Bblock
  17. I stand corrected. You guys, and girl, make me laugh.....
  18. You guys make me laugh..... Could it be, just maybe, the senior WR wants to throw support out to his starting QB at the beginning of a potential season defining run? Maybe? If your maturity isn't to the level to understand this, well then no wonder the nonsense this board experiences. My coworker is in the first year of her position. She is replacing an award winning retiree. I tell our shared clients they are in for more exciting things and can look forward to positive differences and that she will build upon things that already exist. This most likely isn't true, there will be a huge learning curve. But it would be a disservice to my coworker and our "clients" to not extend my full support and excitement about the differences. Especially if it was my last year with the company.
  19. I know right?....And what about him scoring all those points AGAINST the Huskers in basketball. edit: Dude beat me to it. I couldn't even read the very next post without responding.
  20. Another fan checking in to send congrats!!!!
  21. What is the amount of carries RB start cramping at? I remember rex's cramp in the 11 MSU where he got too many carries 22.76
