Is there a stone somewhere that our "rival" shall be etched into? How bout, the NU program (players, fans, coaches, cheerleaders) act like every week is a rivalry game? Give all, leave nothing. A win over Texas means no more than a win over LSU (assuming LSU=Texas). Go to the best bowl possible, and beat the best team possible. The fact NU fans are "looking" for rivals means that we don't have one. It is us against the world and we should act like there is something to prove every single time the ball is snapped. "Kill 'em all. Let the paramedics sort 'em out." I think Alabama would be a great rivalry

If his "daring' the admins to firing him equals attitude and emotion to a fault, I can live with that discomfort (I'll admit, I prefer 'lively' Bo) However, the only questionable action I witnessed on Friday was the fake punt. Am I the only person to be more upset about that than the hat incident? When I saw that, that is the only time I thought "yep, he's trying to get fired" hindsight 20/20 I guess. I hope Bo is our coach for a long, long time assuming 9 wins (8 with the roster clusterf*&cj they had) is the floor!

I did not post this to win an argument bout yesterday's game. It is an observation that I have made for some time now about the over all Husker program since Peleni was hired as head coach. Strength and conditioning is an important cog in the wheel. We do get pushed around at the line of scrimmage. There is no argument in that. (Reference the Minnesota game) So maybe you should have posted this 2 weeks ago...

Cotton - out Long - out Sirles - out Rodriguez - moved to guard this week because of injuries And.........the Huskers won on their FINAL drive! The defense also looked pretty lively in the 4th quarter... I seriously don't understand some of you people....the key to winning an argument is posing it at the right time. I have read a lot of posts complaining about 11am starts; and I agree, they suck for a long list of reasons Huskerboard has already compiled in other threads. But the reasons such as, "Nebraska needs to earn better time slots", "when Nebraska is better, we get better start times", "when we are relevant...", "when Nebraska does this, that, or other, we will be on better times and better channels". Ohio State is ranked #4 and hasn't been beaten in over a year, yet their game AT Purdue next weekend is at 11am on the BTN. OSU is nationally relevant and they have beaten everyone they've played for a long time. My point, our crappy start times aren't because Nebraska sucks and needs to "earn it" it is because the teams the Huskers have played are irrelevant. Instead of Husker fans blaming our own team, maybe we could start to embrace our team and just recognize that not every B1G team is of national interest and it's NOT necessarily the Huskers' fault that the game is not shown to a broader audience....

The reason I believe the SJB call is total BS is because later in the game Harvey Jackson did the exact same thing in tackling a receiver out in the flats, in I believe the 3rd quarter. However, the receiver held on to the ball and Jackson was praised with a nice open field tackle. Stupid, stupid, stupid.....
