Yeah, kind of poor reporting on in my eyes. Understandably the 2 is right next to 3 on the keyboard, but come on. And didn't VaTech put up 444 yards RUSHING, and not just all around? I thought they put up over 600 yards of total offense against Marshall? They should clarify. But it is a good prediction, simply because it favors us lol. But, I'm also pretty sure CFN picked Clemson to beat Nebraska in the Gator Bowl.

The writer was subtly trying to be sarcastic, but apparently it didn't get through to everybody.

I think Nebraska is more like Nebraska. We play our own game with our own schemes. Very nice. We will find out Saturday. If we lose by a small point margin or win, then we are more like Alabama. Lose badly, and we're like Marshall. I don't think any team on our schedule is capable of dominating us this year though. Not saying we are overly talented and capable of winning every game on our schedule, but we have enough talent and speed to the point of not losing terribly.

Idk if it's that he's faster, more or less he fits what Nebraska is going to try to do defensively that game. He is nearly 250 pounds and his strength has always been run defense. I expect to see Nickle the same as it has been the last couple of games.

Yeah as stated he is now working with the 1's at WILL. I think the big reason for this is that they need a big guy to fill holes and stuff the VaTech running game. As the guys on Big Red Wrap Up said, he had a good game against VaTech last year. They need experience and a big threat in the box.

When asked after Monday's practice whether or not their would be any restrictions or limitations on the travel squad, he said he would be allowed to take however many players he want. So, technically speaking, he could take the entire 105 man roster if he wanted to.

Just read Rivals practice update. Hickman had a bit of an ankle problem, but both him and Christensen practiced today and Bo said that there weren't any problems. They'll both be good to go come Saturday.

Most impressive? Zac Lee without question. Why? Because he has the seventh best passer rating in the nation right now, better than players like Colt McCoy. Guy I didn't expect to be impressive? Curenski Gilleyan. He has over 150 yards catching in the first two games and has proven he can be a deep threat type of player. He has had two 30 yard plus catches and had an amazing bobbled catch against FAU. He has really stepped up his game.

Yep, not pretty at all. A lot of discussion about whether or not the University can buy out Hawkins or not. Yeah it's pretty bad. A few things seem to be prevalent: 1) A lot of talk about how poorly the defense is playing and what can be done to fix this. 2) Who would be a good replacement for Hawkins. Does the job look good to potential head coaches or does it resemble a graveyard? Things of the sort. 3) Apparently there is a receiver named Simas or something that everybody seems to think if he plays will make the offense suddenly explosive and then Colorado can focus on going into "shoot outs" with other schools. As far as number three goes, I'd like to revert them back to the year 2007 for the Huskers. We tried to go into shoot outs with our piss poor defense, and we got ripped. Shoot outs won't save you when the other team has a good defense, they'll just shut you down and then poop touchdowns down your throat (a la KU v. NU 2007).

I expect the defense to be opened up a little bit more for this game. We really need to be able to force Taylor to make plays with his arms and not his feet. If he is forced to throw the ball, he will make mistakes because it is not his strong suit. I expect to see mostly base defense with some nickel and dime thrown in sporadically. The keys to the game will be stopping the run and confusing Taylor. If we can do those two things and force them to be one dimensional, this game will be easy for us. Taylor is no Peyton Manning and hell, he isn't even a Joe Ganz when it comes to throwing the ball.

Coincidentally, the most points they scored all last season was 35, against us. Out of those teams you listed that they played at home Georgia Tech was the only real challenge, so I'm liking our chances offensively. Defensively is where we are going to need to get our stuff straight. Gave up too many yards and points last year and didn't give our offense enough opportunities. It's amazing we even came within 5 points. Hopefully we'll be able to confuse Taylor and force him to make mistakes. We really need to force Taylor to throw the ball, something that isn't his forte.

Well, to my knowledge, they don't check. Unless you are noticeably drunk (i.e. falling all over the place, yelling at people, et al) then you can get in the game. I have never seen any police or anybody looking for drunks, just the security check before the gates and the ticket scanners.

What I would LOVE to see, but probably won't get, is one of those old Nebraska wins where the team would be ranked pretty high and we would just rip them to shreds. Oh...wishful thinking.

Why can't I find the pictures of the players? When I go to the website all I see are these nice graphical ones with their names and hometowns next to it, but I can't get to/save the image. Any help on where to go?

He's a good guy and a good coach. He always has his players ready to go. I can't wait for this game.

You can't get into the games with alcohol. In fact, you can't even have alcohol on the campus. They give you a once over as you walk in and if I don't even know if they allow you to bring bottles into the game. It's more or less students getting drunk before the game and being drunk while the game is going on. They don't see if students are piss drunk before the game or not. And besides, there is no such thing as drinking too early for college students. If the game is at 11, they'll be drinking early.
