Is Nebraska the home or away team in the bowl game this year?

Same deal we went last year and went to the Wahington game this year. If we were playing anyone else would have went. This totally sucks

Why was Arrowhead so empty last week then. MU playing there rival game in the state of Missouri and only drew 50,000 fans. And I bet out of the 50,000 there were 15,000 to 20,000 KU fans. That place should have been sold out period.

MU went in 2007, and btw helped to set the record for the fastest sellout in cotton bowl history. The travel thing is chicken and egg. do less fans go because we get shafted and fall to bowls well below were we should. or do we fall because less fans go? Well given that when MU started to going to bowls again, they sold out and when we go to better bowls they sold out, i think it has more to do with the lesser bowls. Lord knows when you use fans as the excuse but you take ISU and KU ahead of MU when they cant even get 40K to show up on a home saturday your full of it. To put it bluntly, we are no Nebraska, but we are a hell of a lot better than ISU, KU, OSU and so on....... I think it had to do with Arkansas why tickets went so fast.

Why does it seem opposing fans, particularly in the North, are so intent on attacking the fans and people of Nebraska? From K-State fans depicting Nebraskan's as hicks (irony was apparently lost on them), to Mike DeArmond's rant before the Missouri game, and now this unoriginal attempt at "comedy." Nebraska fans on message boards will, of course, retaliate with choice words of their own at times, but I've never seen our local media doing a bit depicting Buff fans holding a giant bong for instance. Perhaps the letter from the Husker fan they mentioned at the beginning has merit. I see no other reason for this type of personal attack on an entire population other than ugly resentment and jealousy over Nebraska's history of dominance over aforementioned North schools and her apparent return to that status. Ding Ding we have a winner. Washington fans were awesome, OSU fans were great also, but KSU and ISU fans were just a holes.

Me and some buddies at the ISU game were talking about Cody and that it looks like he is slower now then when he got on campus. He sure isn't any faster. Nothing against him but after this year he should not see the field period.

I think the bias remarks by Ed will even be worse this week. 810 AM had him on the radio this morning and he played at Washington when Pinkel was a coach there. he also made a comment that wouldn't it be great if Mizzou beat Nebr. since they decided to leave the conference. Way to be fair Ed?

Good. I haven't watched Game Day since they were here in Lincoln the last time, and I don't miss it one bit. I think I know more about college football by NOT watching Game Day than I would learn by watching it. Yeah right :rollin :rollin

bo talks about treating it just as another game. i think that overplaying the "it is just another game" angle gets in the players heads worse than treating it like the big game that it is. they need to be playing inspired, possessed for these big games, because they are different. Yep should have worn the all reds!!
