i agree. i don't think being a starter automatically earns you a shirt at all........being the best we have and playing at an average level shouldn't win you the prize......now, if you are busting your ass and still not at BS playing level, well? the concept needs to be refined and explained, as it has been adulterated over the years since Frost was here.

dual threat is the mind set to have........but an accurate passer, a guy who can make all the throws AND a good decision maker.....maybe that is even more important in this multiple offense Frost is going to run.

i don't think we have to worry about this, being #2 at OSU means he will likely get some playing time there anyway. few qbs make it through the entire season.

Frost has brought a lot of hope for this team/fans.........temper the expectations, this will be a process, 2-3 years before we see some marked improvement.....be patient and let this thing grow. be realistic.

If we get some qb development, 7-5 is doable. Staying healthy will be a big deal along with developing some depth.
