  1. I'm from Western Nebraska as well. We do cinnamon rolls with chili also. So as I can't say it is common through out the area, you aren't the only ones
  2. We ask for a chance that's fair
  3. I think I may try these out for tomorrow nights game!
  4. Sorry, I don't post much and not sure how to get the video to just show up. But another just part of the game...
  5. C'mon boys, lets get a double play and get the bats going
  6. I can't get really get a good read from the video. But if he is as good as some of the people say, that have seen him in person, I hope we don't whiff like we did on one Danny Woodhead.
  7. Maybe it has said before, as I didn't really go through the entire thread, but one thing that I think may be a benefit, it seems that they run a similar offense to what we implemented with Beck. I may be off base here though as I am not great with the X's and O's, but looked similar to me.
  8. Yes, if he keeps it up in the games that matter. Lose to MI and we could be back to square 1. Back to sqare one if we lose a game? IMO, losing a game does not take away the progress that Martinez has made. Unless I'm not understanding the context of your post.
  9. I agree, it's called the bystander effect. People naturally don't want to be the whistle blower, there have been a ton of social studies on this. That being said, its still not a reason to take any blame away from the people that knew. (Not saying you are advocating that) What you said reminded me of this.
  10. I'm not necessarily discounting your concerns, but I thought MSU was one of the good/great defenses. I thought they were ranked in the top ten in just about every category, I could be mistaken though
  11. Nope. My mistake, I didn't realize you could only red-shirt your freshman year. Oh, I thought you meant this season, in which case that ship has sailed. One of them could in the future but I'd say that's unlikely barring a medical redshirt for one reason or another. The way this season has played out I don't see why one of them didn't. Based on 20/20 hindsight Braylon might have been the best RS candidate. Ah my fault, many times what I am thinking doesn't translate to my finger tips. But yes, I meant another year rather than later this year. And I would agree, it is unlikely, but if it was me, maybe I would consider it. That would put me as the "only" Senior running back that year. Of course, I wasn't a highly touted runningback now playing for a top 10 D1 school.

  13. Another thing to think about, is that any one of, or more than one of the freshman running backs can still be red-shirted right? Not to say that this will happen, as I'm sure that they all want to play, but if one of them wants to red-shirt a year down the road, why not?
  14. I could be wrong but I believe that his 5 star ranking was on the offensive side of the ball. Now that may not changed the opinion that he has underachieved, but just wanted to throw that out there.
  15. I was stuck on football, but I did play baseball against Jeremy Becker from about 12 years old through highschool
  16. Was Koch on the Seward team that won state in 2001? If so, I played him when they came out here and thumped us. I played Danny in basketball in high school. I believe I even blocked a shot of his! Where are you from GSG? Gering Ah ok, from Bluffs now I thought I had read somewhere you from from this area anyway....sorry for the thread jack.
