Per @huskeronline Nebraska has received a commit from Fresno CC JUCO OL Chongo Kondolo. He could play center/guard at NU. #huskers
Apparently, he has decommitted. Via Sipple on twitter.
Link.
"Four-star DL Christian LaCouture decommits from #Huskers, per http://Scout.com ... http://tinyurl.com/9mcl9y3 ... This is a head-scratcher."
It's not like he decommitted for no reason. His main recruiter and position coach left the school and he had to re-evaluate the situation. I think that's perfectly acceptable when you're making a decision about where to live the next 4-5 years of your life and the decision will also have a huge impact on the rest of your life as a whole.
He's not one of those who has bounced around, committing to school after school simply for the attention.
He has mod powers and spends the most time in the recruiting section out of all the mods.
If the OP comes around, he can change it too.
Or any of the other mods for that matter.
Sorry guys forgot I was the OP....first and only time I made a recruiting thread. Changed it!
Well you're 1/1, get to making more threads!
The tweet is just the same picture of him wearing a Nebraska hat that was posted earlier. It doesn't say that he's committed or even imply that at all.
Cal just lost one of their best recruiters to Washington and their class is falling apart. All the Cal fans on another board I read are pissed, so I'd be mildly surprised if he ends up there.
When comparing O'Hanlon to Austin Cassidy you have to look at who they had around them rather than just their individual performance since many times safety play is so dependent on everyone else doing their jobs.
O'Hanlon had Suh and Crick on the line and Gomes/Hagg/Dennard/Prince in the secondary with him. The difference in the amount of freedom he had to make plays compared to Cassidy with a rather weak supporting cast this year is insane.
While this is sometimes true, I don't think she's wrong at all to encourage him to at least visit a school. There's no harm in that as far as she's concerned, and she's right, although it sucks to see as Nebraska fans.
Never judge a player solely on his stars. Some of our best players recently have been 3-star recruits.

(more to come I'm sure, he's just the only one who's had the biggest impact thus far)
I meant in general, but they're also a terrible metric to use in fantasy baseball. It's far too dependent on actions that the pitcher can do nothing to effect.
