I think that they don't really buy a lot. Years ago...I worked at a donut place...the old men would come in and sit there for 3-6 hours a day, no joke. They would get one donut and one cup of coffee...that was it. They each spent about 1.50. They also were able to solve all the worlds problems and fix Husker football

I don't think he is way off base at all. I know people love to talk about how well TA runs the option but I guess I did not see it all that much. Teams will let him run and key the option back, because TA is not really a burner AND because there is no proven guy behind him. Now, with that being said...TA might be a "winner" some guys just win...I don't know why but they do...

You can check his stats all day...that guy is a horrible QB and on a great day he is average. Period. No doubt. Not throwing a lot of picks is more game plan. I could design a game plan where T-Mart would go the entire season with zero picks...hell they almost did it when Keller was the QB with the dump offs. Cook will have the same exact stats this year...but they will have 4-6 losses.

I am interested in this too. I for one could not wait to look into the big colleges when I was a junior in high school. I think some of the things that were always in my mind were 1. A school that has D1 Sports, especially "good" or "popular" football. I wanted that part of college life and at the time I did not know it but I wanted it as part of my life after college. I had a student that just picked picked Florida of Colorado St...she said she loved both schools and they are both good but that when it came down to it she wanted the experience of having that "popular" football team and basketball team that she could always root for and be a part of. 2. I wanted to see the Greek life. I am pretty sure it was not as much fun as I would have liked because they started to crack down on frats having fun but its still something that I will always remember. My brother was a bit scared to leave home and commuted to an expensive private college, which made no sense, you are not saving money if you are commuting to an expensive private college. It is a small college with no frats and the sports are good but, like DIII I think. Come football season he basically has no clue how that team is doing because no one knows or follows it. He would have LOVED a big school but at the time was just worried about it.

This has been the chatter on Morrow. Now, if he was 6'9 and 225 pounds, right now, he would be a top 10 recruit. But like you said at the next level those dunks won't be there. He seems to be a lot of Big Ten teams plan B guy right now. I think he will have a big high school season and things will change a bit but who knows
