  1. My guess...the UK visit never happens. This is MSU and Illinois
  2. Crean can recruit...that is the biggest thing.
  3. Crean is a good hire and a good recruiter. He has proven that he can win at a decent level and I think grabbed a 1 seed once or twice. The word "likable" is interesting because I bet that if Crean was the Husker coach and if he got them in the top 4 of the Big Ten...grabbed a top 5 seed in the dance and won a game or two that he would be really well liked.
  4. Uh oh...here it comes! Maybe they were at the weight room...getting in extra reps
  5. If you are Miles...you take this job ASAP. Basically he would get to sign a new 5 year lotto ticket. If you are NU...you go right after the UNO coach. They play up and down, they play fast.
  6. 16-15...NIT bound. I think a lot of fans would have looked at that as progress. Maybe.
  7. Quick poll: Was Morrow the worst player in Husker history or the worstest player in Husker history?

@NUance yes, rebounds per minute is an imaginary statistical metric. Because combining rebounds and efficiency (rebounds per game, rebounds per minute played) is imaginary.

He was a bum. Dude couldn't get an assist to save his life.

  8. All of a sudden, Morrow was a walk on that should have been at UNK.
  9. How the tide has changed for many posters... I still think we are pretty talented. (Watson, Gill, McVeigh, Jacobson, Tshimanga, Roby, Copeland, Palmer, Taylor & Akenten + any transfers or new recruits fill open spots) Will still have a pretty solid 2 deep. Yea, they may win a game or two at the rec center. Attrition isn't done, either. I'm not as excited about Akenten as everyone else. Rated a decent amount lower that Ed Chang here in state (.8628 for Akenten and .8876 for Chang). He could be very good, but would love to get Chang on board and snag a guy that Creighton usually turns into a success. Certainly have the space for him at this point. Rivals still has one more update to their rankings that will be coming out soon. Washut implied Nana could see a nice jump in the rankings. He might...rankings for BBall don't usually change all that much once AAU is done but there are always a few players that rise/fall.
  10. you sure quote a lot of words that are never used... I didn't quote anyone.
  11. I can't wait to see Jordy play 40 minutes a night next season...OH MY GOD
  12. From BTN...I guess they don't know Morrow is bad at sports. 13. Nebraska. The Cornhuskers are looking to overcome a disappointing season in what shapes up as a big year for Tim Miles. Nebraska will have back key players in F Isaiah Roby, G Glynn Watson Jr., F Ed Morrow, C Jordy Tshimanga, F Jack McVeigh and F Michael Jacobson. But G Tai Webster is gone, leaving a void. - See more at: http://btn.com/2017/03/28/dienhart-early-early-look-at-2017-18-big-ten-power-rankings/#sthash.RXhuMIpp.dpuf
  13. Wait...found it! From another board: This is really close to the old "Toxic" bit IMO this isn't all Miles's fault(trust me I wanted Miles gone in January so I'm not sticking up for him), but from the article Morrow told those close to him & I state "He had hoped to play more at wing or forward in the future to develop his professional prospects instead of continuing to operate inside". Kids are in this game for themselves now days. TEAM is mostly just a term without meaning for most of these guys.
  14. Just wanted to check back...are we still having people pretend that Morrow was super horrible? Wait...have the "he was toxic" posts started yet? Honestly...the team you could make with his transfers would beat the current NU team.
  15. Just imagine how good Morrow could have been if Miles had ever let the team run and press.
  16. Recap: NU will be better without... Pettaway...Shields...White...Webster...Morrow. So, looks like they are going 35-0 this season!
  17. Wait A month ago the reason the huskers didn't make the tournament was because he got hurt Now it's no big deal?Dude, go back and read.During our losing streak it killed not having him because we had no depth and bigs got in foul trouble. Towards end of season everyone was arguing about him and a few of us agreed he is a bench player who should come in and get boards for 10 minutes a game. Looks like he read my post and realized Copeland/Tshimanga were going to be the starters and he was fighting with Jacobson for bench minutes. I wish he wasn't leaving, but he is a solid back up post at best. I repeat, it felt like we were missing Shaq, while he was out with an injury, but it was because of depth. Sounds good! I never looked but weren't his numbers better than Copelands? I think Copeland averaged 16 a game as a frosh. Now that is very impressive. Way off. 6 PPG as a freshman and 11 PPG as a sophomore. Ohhhhh
