  1. Just because MJ wouldn't have got the opportunity if Frost was fired last season to be HC, doesn't mean he wouldn't be a good HC. Frost, Riley, Callahan all had HC cred but weren't nearly as successful as Bo no with HC experience. Let's not mention TO also didn't have HC creds before he got the nod. The man is doing well with what he has, and the situation he was brought into.
  2. Couldn't disagree with you more. The question is, whether he is getting the most out of what he has? He his overachieving in that regard. Remember this is not his staff. He didn't choose the strength and conditioning coach or how have the ability to hold all the players accountable during the off-season. The players he did bring in, CT and TP are the best things we have going. And I don't think anyone would doubt if he was HC at NW and Georgia Southern we would have won both those games, making us 5-3 at this point. If he is given the nod, which I hope it is either him or Mullen, he'll be just fine. And if you're thinking we need someone more HC creds, Dabo says sup!
  3. Not saying Joseph gets the HC position, but I think there are double standards at play. If the the new HC comes in and doesn't light it up the first season folks will say give him time to get their players in and get rid of the Frost recruits. MJ doesn't have an off season to get his staff in place and to get all his kids on the field. He is left patching holes on a sinking ship mid season.
  4. Loved his quote at the 10 minute mark and CT being on the ground.
  5. Rewatching the Rutgers game and if the o line doesn't take a step forward from this God awful performance, Raiola needs to be fired going into the bye.
  6. They aren't as physical as Rutgers. And Maryland's WR were consistently getting behind their DBs. We beat them by 7.
  7. Really can't imagine anyone being successful with what we got.
  8. That's why I think Mickey is one of the best options we have. We need to recruit our way out this. I don't think it's coaching at this point. They seem to be playing with effort but just aren't good.
  9. That both Brant Banks and Hunter Anthony have earned playing time.
  10. Why is Benhart still starting? And where is Kevin Williams?
  11. Still want Mullen, but wouldn't be upset if we got Kalen Deboer, Leipold, or Campbell. Curious how much money we are willing to pony up to get these guys out of contacts?
  12. This o line will be the toughest fix for whoever is the next coach. Think we have the skill players to put up points, but it'll take some time to do something there.
  13. Really hoping Joseph takes the reins and doesn't look back. Rooting for him to be our next coach.

  14. That's a sad video, but I'm sure he is somewhat relieved it is over.
  15. Followed by Ruud and the O-line coach.
  16. Trev is getting MJ leeway to relieve coaches as he sees fit.
  17. Dude did what Matt Campbell has done in the SEC WEST. In his first two seasons at UF he 10 and 11 games respectively. And has given SABAN a run for his money everytime they played when he was HC at Florida. He gave Burrow's LSU a run for the money. He has played Kirby tough. He was 34-15 at Florida. Not too shabby. He has recruiting ties to the south. Give him decent recruiting coaches, ala our RB and WR coach, along with poaching Arky's o-line coach and a good DC, and he can make waves. Really believe if he is our guy and our talent on Offense stays another year, we'll be in Indy next year. Edit: And for everyone that wants Urbs, Mullen was the OC when Urbs win the natties at UF. Dude can win with a pocket passer or running qb.
  18. Feel sorry for the man, but this needed to happen.
  19. He does have natties, but you make it seem like he is the only one that can get us there. After Jacksonville, your assumption may not be a guarantee. Side note. If folks on offense don't leave early for the draft, Mullen can get us to Indy next year. And he shown he can be competitive with BAMA and UGA in recent history, not to mention he played Burrow's LSU competitive. Dude has a stellar resume and made Miss State into something in the SEC WEST. Give him a decent o line coach and DC, and we can make a lot of noise.
  20. Simple. Don't think his personality would vibe well with Alberts. Urbs is a head case to say the least, and I don't think Alberts is that desperate to want to win.
  21. 1. Mullen- Offensive guru and can win. Good SEC ties for recruiting. 2. Harsin- steady developer and will be looking for a new home. 3. Matt Campbell- steady developer but can't recruit. Could be Riley 2.0. 4. O'Brien- doesnt seem to be as competent as the others. Urbs aint coming, Aranda is going to Auburn, and Fickell- I'm meh on him.
  22. If we get the right coach, would love to see Casey, Grant, Washington, and Palmer return next year, team them with Fidone and we may have a monster offense. Also think it'll help their draft prospects. Don't see any of them getting drafted high  with our record this season.

  23. Think Bryan Harsin would be a good hire.
  24. Not even mad or disgusted, just ready for it to be over.
  25. Grant has been the most reliable player, but lets not go to him on that last drive
